When Founders build a product, they are quite literally creating a new thing in the world. Part of that creative process is - as strange as it may sound - defining what the product actually is. What does it do? Who is it for? What can it be used for? How should it be thought about? This process is often called product positioning, and there are only a few voices in the world who talk about it a...

Jimmy Wales, the biggest lying, backstabber of all. Making his fortune off the backs of the people, only to lie and betray them, in the worst way.
April is well spoken
LOL the Finns, always in their black turtlenecks.. so existential. But I guess that's the influence of the weather as well. Great talk! :)
Great insights!
Ethical marketing backed up by a quality product.
Excellent interview - thank you!
This is so amazing. Spot on.
Great questions from the team and great sharing from Lawrence. Enjoyed it! I find Tier, one of the rarest companies today, to operate with a value-based compass. The big majority swim along the meaningless waves of capitalism and growth. Most are not blame, the system, the funding structure, growth necessities, product growth frameworks like looking for more users and more engagement, all force the outcome. I would love to see an episode about the constraints of funding and growth on startup missions, and what would be the solutions? As of now I believe there are mission driven niches, like the one Tier contributes to widening. Would the only alternative be to challenge the growth model led by the constraints of VC funding?
Sick man. Yo what kind of mic are you using? Super crisp!
that is great idea thanks for ur company in Estonia

April is a rockstar!

Batteries are not changed in the devices Swappie refurbishes. I’ve seen an iPhone purchased from Swappie for more than EUR 750,00 with 86% battery health.
Great podcast guys, look forward to more in the future!
Thank you! Much cool stuff on the way!
Miki Kuusi would make a great guest!
Nice chat! Could have been a bit longer? I felt like it was just getting started :)
Thank you for the feedback! We are still trying to figure out the format and agree that this one in particular could have been longer! How long episodes would you prefer?
@@soakedbyslush8356 Well I am kind of in the long format podcast type of person and then I get to podcasts from shorter clips from the podcast. The length does not always guarantee the a good podcast (not best measure) but typically I find the best podcasts having me sucked in and listening them about 1,5h-2h. Obviously it is not the question about the length, but the content, and typically the really meaningful stuff comes after the "the usual" questions when the topic is explored a bit deeper. The conversation evolves from a marketing pitch to an actual conversation. I felt like this story was just getting started :) Anyhow that means that I enjoyed the 30min podcast as well and left wanting more :)
Thank you! We will keep this in mind when moving forward!
Sami is amazing!
Agreed!
🚀🚀🚀
I really like the format of this podcast🚀👍🏼
Glad to hear it!

Glad you enjoyed it!
Really enjoyed the insights from Jonathan on this episode!
well said Hayley
Great episode. Comprehensive and insightful. Thanks for sharing
Thanks for the feedback! Glad that you enjoyed it!
Great and comprehensive take on VC capital. Also a lot of gems about entrepreneurship. Only thing what I was missing was a connection between VCs needing +30 companies and 150x return. Ultimately VCs only care about nr 1 as they make more money for the fund than others combined. Great stuff and learnt a lot! Hope to hear/see Jyri again!
Thanks! Great to hear you enjoyed it! Jyri is great!
I really enjoyed this, nice work with the production. A lot of the key points are summarized in the What You Should Know About VC deck: docs.google.com/presentation/d/1LJ6U4BFULkMXFA5GMJcK_sK7I2h2Sq-RNIZN98w_TFk/edit?usp=sharing
Thank you Jyri, the pleasure was all ours!
