It actually makes me mad to see Chinese renovators start with the courtyard. This is the order your Reno should take: Roof, electric, water. Then walls and floors. Do bathroom then kitchen. I always suspect the property is not going to be home but some sort of spa or teahouse or pleasure house when they start with the garden and have this elaborate courtyard with outdoor kitchen/bar.

Hey, all you Chinese renovations content creators need to organize your projects better. Clean up the yard but don't decorate it til the house is complete. Do bathrooms and kitchens and all plumbing and wiring first, then do sitting rooms and bedrooms. Do walls, ceilings and windows and then do floors. And beware of tacky decor. A lot of these renovations look like pleasure houses, not homes.
