I had PS5 fat, played for 1 whole year . No sound at all or noise. I had to go to abroad, sold my old one and after a while i bought PS5 Slim , and within 30 Secs the fan is noisy as hell . Well , it’s not that loud but it’s noticeable . Hope that’s help someone * That’s just pure personal experience, doesn’t mean any slim are noisier than the OG.

Gaming is in a weird era, it’s popular as ever but it’s like game makers are lame as ever and unwilling to take chances. Investors and micro transactions are ruining gaming.

Didn’t happen with the PS4 original or revised PS3 fat that removed the backwards compatibility. The only time that has ever happened was the backwards compatible PS3 and that’s only because the others that followed removed PS2 playback. Why would this be any different if the systems basically function the same way?
