50 minutes on a veteran? I passed the expert for 25, although it depends a lot on luck, zergs can be very aggressive, most likely some kind of bug, but I'm not sure. The bottom line is that the Zergs were too cruel at first, on the 2nd attempt they did not at all For that, the Protoss attacked a lot. both times I played on the Expert, so there just seems to be a randomizer on the main aggressor. In general, it's easy to play against protos, it's impossible against the zerg. somehow

Why were the cataphracts using their sword and not their lance? Cataphracts are built for charge attacks not close quarters fighting. Khans gaurd however are basically mounted shock troops that thrive in close quarters and ranged combat. They are OP but can be tough to recruit in a pinch.

Not sure whether to say the reuse of "that" scene instead of the original way the mission ended was either ingenious or lazy.

This was so fun to play. Love the quality of life changes that make this an improvement on the original SC. SC Remastered will always be there for those who want a vanilla experience.

I think story-wise this works *much* better as the point where Mengsk deploys the PSI Emitter on Tarsonis than The Big Push. Real shame that this mission was cut from the original Starcraft.

Set your Khans guard to melee only and they will win. Set them to archer mode is only good if you are micro managing them and telling them to follow or giving them a harassment position. Otherwise Khans guard will die if you set them to do whatever

If Half-Life has Black Mesa, then StarCraft has Mass Recall. Heh, that intro sure brings back some nice Fallout memories. (Why is the second slide skipped though?) A shame you didn't explore and pacify all Zerg in the surrounding area.
