Actually perfect
The best Blood Angels aspire to be Imperial Fists. Hence the yellow helmet.
The nurgling was better halfway thru. Punish yourself.
You did such a good job man. Real clean, one of the best ive seen!
Thank you!
Beautiful! I recently painted my first blood angel and i used a sponge for this nice texture and slighly battle damaged look, but i screwed up the decal... urs is so good!!!
I have another video on the sponge technique!
Well, you are way better at painting then i am 😅
Hey, as long as you have fun while painting that is all that matters!
@chrisminipaints true also your painting is really good
Looks fantastic!
Thank you!
They're beautiful
In your opinion what's a good way to get a blood splatter effect for weapons and general model details?
I tend to like using Blood Angels contrast paint, though it's not something I do a lot.
I love it!
Thank you!
I’m new to painting miniatures, what tool is it that ur using? it almost looks like a tool with a sponge on the tip.
It is just a small piece of sponge ripped and stuck in the end of a brush protector ( the little plastic tube you get on the end of a new brush)
Question: Do you have to use oil paints to add the shading 'lines' in the reassesses? Or can I use something like nuln oil washes? Great video btw!
Nuln oil or other washes are fine. You just have to be more careful as it won't run into the recesses as easily.
@@chrisminipaints I appreciate the swift reply! Would it help if I thin them down even more? The way your oils flow around the edges/reassesses is amazing, so crisp
You can try flow improver if you have it. Might work, I haven't tried it in a while.
@@chrisminipaints I really appreciate you taking the time to respond! Great content sir, glad I found your channel. All the best!
Grandísimo trabajo. Muchas gracias

What black primer are you using? im struggling to find a descent black for base coating
I used AK Interactive Black Primer on this one but I also use Vallejo Black Primer, both work well.
What gold are u using?
Scale 75 Necro Gold.
nice work
Hey! It's looking really great ❤ Want to try it by myself) What can be alternative for purpurviolett from Vallejo or citadel?)
Xereus purple maybe? Any darker shade of purple should work fine.
@chrisminipaints Nice) Thanks for advice 🙂
Great job, the glowing eyes are haunting
Thank you!
Wow yours looks way better than mine I need to learn how to air brush
A smaller brush, painters tape, and an exacto knife goes a long way.
What pink was that?
It's a Molotow acrylic refill paint, the colour name is Magenta.
Badass
Goddamn, that is one sexy model. Painting yellow is hard (I should know, I play Imperial Fists) and the way you got it to work is awesome.
Clean af.
J'aime bien le résultat, j'essaierai volontiers de reproduire cette méthode. Merci 👍
Demi-Gods that use real world and practical military tactics ❤
Amazing model! bit sad that you didn't go over the process of the face, it's probably one of the best details on the model. The glowing eyes really sells the "psyker" aspect of this character.
Yeah, the footage was pretty bad. The basic was, Rakarth Flesh down as a base layer. Then I used some Volupus Pink contrast paint to shade. For the eyes it was fairly simple, paint a layer of white and then I used some AK Interactive Fluo Blue. Touched back a few highlights with the Rakarth Flesh and a bit of White and that was it.
Put up a little short with the process for the face!
Brother Christoph. Beautiful work. It is a very cool model and you did it justice with that paint job. What size needle are you using in your airbrush?
I use a Harder and Steenbeck Ultra 2024 which has a 0.45m needle. I find this particular airbrush to be really very good.
Beau travail 👍
You are making it look so easy and relaxing, but when I'm doing it, it's the opposite🥲 great job👍
I use Molotow Acrylic - Magenta for the Pink and the Yellow is Imperial Fist contrast paint from Citadel.
@chrisminipaints je te remercie pour ces réponses, c'est très gentil 😊
Bravo, le résultat est vraiment magnifique 👍
Great work. May I ask how you made the sponge brush please?
I tore a small piece of sponge and used the little plastic cap you get on new brushes. Just push a bit of the brush into the end and away you go!
@chrisminipaints thanks so much for this, I'm going to try this on my next marine!
What's the difference between painting with a brush and painting with a sponge?
For something like this it is just a quick easy way to build up that battle worn effect. You can do it with a brush but it's not quite as quick.
@@chrisminipaints Thanks for the info
Man, you really are something else. Love it! Happy to see your fan base is growing!
Thank you so much 😀
Brother needs to tell one of his serfs to get the jetwash out and give his power armour a good clean!
I really like this more battle worned look for the armor, i definitely want to use this technique on my Nurgle-corrupted Blood Angels (Dornian Heresy)
Would be perfect for something like that!
@chrisminipaints Thanks
Great technique, the results look great!
Thanks so much!
this deserves a million views my god. Seriously well done, Keep up the brilliant work
Thank you very much!
What's your first red? Is it that Two Thin Coats red from your 60min BA tutorial. Great paint job btw!
It's a mix of Khorne Red and Black, but the two thin coats dread red would work too
I like this technique. Great results as always.
Thank you!
Genuinely makes me want to start painting the boys in blue, this is a fantastic video and an even better paintjob! If you don't mind, what camera do you use to record? So crisp.
I use a Canon EOS R50. Not sure I would recommend it as such it does have limitations.
Hey, incredible paint job 🙌was wondering, what is the dark wash you used?
It. Is an oil wash. I use burnt umber and black usually.
This is the best Titus on RUclips! Congratulations on the work!! Could you tell me which blue paints you used?
Initially I used dark prussian blue as a base but decided to go over most of that with macragge blue.
