Yes. As a Romanian I whish I knew at least two people that adopted a stray dog.. Unfortunately people treated dogs like an object, a posesión that had to take care of your home in the country side, while living in chains. Few people used to have a dog as a pet in towns, and those were seen as strange crazy people. Nowadays more people want to have a dog but for them own ego, they buy agressive dogs , or expensive breeds while the streets are full of stray dogs
My romanian puppy is on her way, i really hope everything goes well because so scared and apathic in the photos, hope she doesnt suffer trauma too much and opens up once she is in a loving home ❤️

Hi yes you do share kitchen with 9-12 people and bathroom with one other person :) hope this helps

My puppy is coming from a romanian rescue service tomorrow. She was found in a plastic bag with her two sisters and her mum next to a river. I am so happy that her, her sisters and her mum have been saved. Larsen is such a cutie! We are calling our pup Izzy!

How do you adopt?
Hi, if you look for any reputable rescues that you can use in your area they should explain on their websites the process, we had to do a home check for the company to see what our living space was like and so they could ask us questions to see if we would be a good fit! Xx

We adopted through Pawprints 2 Freedom (PPTF) and have had our boy Luca now for about 5 weeks. Best advice we can offer is "don't expect them to know how to be 'a dog' straight away". For example, we had to teach Luca how to play with toys as he'd never seen them before and after a month we had only just started being able to get him out of the house for short walks. Don't let that put you off though, if you're willing to be super patient and let them learn at their own pace it is an incredibly rewarding experience. PPTF also have an amazing support network of other adopters on facebook and behaviourists are on hand if you have any worries. Good luck!

Hey! They do offer accommodation to 2nd and 3rd years but you don’t get as much choice but still lots to choose from! And I’m not sure if it’s 100% guaranteed but I know a lot of second and third years who lived in accommodation they just had to apply ASAP xx
Great Video. I adopted a 5 month old Romanian puppy yesterday. Shes so nervous and hasn't come up to us yet, but shes eating and drinking well, how long did it take for your puppy to relax and approach you, it's been less than 24hrs shes been with us and the journey over was long and stressfull plus 48 hours in foster and now with us, must be so overwhelming. I just wondered how long it took for him to trust you I suppose ?
Awww that’s so nice to hear! Larsen was super nervous to approach us and didn’t come over to us until we came over to him but eventually he settled in much quicker! Maybe you could try some treats to build trust and hopefully with time she will settle in! There’s lots of Facebook groups you can join which post advice for rescue dogs and hopefully that will help! Just don’t push her and be gentle and paitent hope it goes well! X

It’s down to you to decide, but me and my girl housemate agreed to share and the two boys on our floor shared, but there are secure locks on the bathroom doors so no need to worry regardless :) xx
