I don't understand why you don't connect all the hps together with a cooltube system connected to the air extraction tubes... All this talk about the temperature of the hps and the distance is only valid if the hps are not used with the best setup available, because with a direct air extraction with the cooltube system, the temperature produced by the bulb is instantly taken out of the grow room, thus being able to bring the lamps closer to practically the same distance as with LEDs, LEDs that instead do not have extraction systems similar to the cooltube and therefore the hot air they produce, and they also produce it when you go above 400 watts, remains in the growing room increasing the overall temperature. Being able to bring the lamps much closer to the plants you could also go from 1000 to 600 watts per lamp and have the same micromoles. Eliminating the "temperature problem" from the equation with an adequate setup, the hps remain very competitive vs the leds

Do you wait at all before putting new plants on the beds of soil? Or chop immediately then put new plants in?

I’m my earthboxes I’ve noticed after my 3rd run the worms have taken over and the soil is mostly casting at this point. I use build a soil 3.0. Should I just dump them earthboxes with the worms and make new soil with that?

Wait until it goes federally legal. Here In Canada traditional/grey market prices in Vancouver BC for fire fire is 2400. This is what I saw just smoked yesterday. Legal/rec market is 300-700. When it goes federal in USA you may see the same thing where traditional market fire price goes up like here while Rec/legal plummets like here on the west coast of Canada.

The market has declined because weed is dog shiet now, and you charge 70 an 8th for overbred genetics a million miles away from landraces . Were all going back to our oldschool home growers. It looks beautiful while growing but that first clip of it dried is disappointing .

I run HPS and switch to MH toward the end. I heard it maximizes the cannabinoid content compared to anything. Lamps have lower start-up costs, which important to me, as I don't sell, I only live off paychecks and Igrow for myself only, so potential savings with LEDs are small. I don't take loans, I paid off one morgage already and I am thus cured from dealing with the banks.
