Unless I’m way off, I see matrices as copies (or mults) of the LR Mix Bus. Matrices are the same mix of inputs and levels as the LR mix bus, just with a master volume before the destination.

Would you please clarify exactly what that app is? I am familiar with M32-Q and Mixing Station, but the app you are using does not look like either.

How do you feel about acoustic IRs?
IR's are a very interesting subject for sure. We think it's a cool concept and are sure you can find some good examples of them out there. To us, nothing beats the natural sound of a well constructed, well maintained, and well played instrument. That being said, creativity is the spice of life and by all means go out and experiment (we would just recommend not experimenting on Sunday mornings😀).

Garbage in garbage out! Great sounding drums give you the foundation to reinforce a great drum sound. Everybody wants this super dead low tuning on the snare and toms now (especially the snare). Why?.. because it's what is now the cool sound in current worship music. As a drummer I don't enjoy the reduced playability of that kind of tuning or the sonic lifeless sound it produces. the snare is the voice of the drums and I wonder why it's such a big thing? I shudder when I see ANY kind of tape on the drums although I get the need for it occasionally.
