I'll be honest monster hunter can be hard... But there are 3 skills that are game changing 1. Health boost! Defense is nice but more health is always better. 2. Evade extendeder! What's better than oneself taking more hits. Evading them all together 3. Quick sheath it just helps to keep you safe by saving time on the one thing you'll do over and over again (SNS doesn't really need it) All of them are skills that go up to lvl.3 and are easy to slot in. They are also small decorations (meaning they need only a lvl 1 decoration slot (except for evade extendeder that one needs a lvl 2 slot) I don't leave without them

sometimes all you need is a good night sleep, for example monster hunter rise RC 50 boss is SUPER FUCKING HARD, but the dlc final boss i found the dlc final boss less hard but i struggled for both, but the only reason i struggled against the dlc final boss was beacause i was getting late, so i took the L and went to sleep, then the next day i bullied it and killed it 2 times, all that to say CHARGE BLADE FOREVER

Honestly on my first run Nergi was the hardest of the pther 3 elders for me, he took a whole week to beat solo and the other 3 took literally a first try, i felt betrayed when i heard that the other 3 where harder

Bro grinding armor just to see what you like? That is litterally monster hunter in a nutshell (weapon too but yes xD) a thing i should say is armor should be choosen for skills not for defense (but note im not complainimg its still completely up to you as long as you have fun its all that matter)
