Oh, sorry for the confusion. The part in Moonrise is a save file for Act 2 to demonstrate my points. The parts of the video in the Grove is a different save in Act 1 at level 3 but with all the available gear for pickpocketing. I went over how to get the gear that early in a different video.

Its fun to get the Silver Sword Legend in Act 1, but its quite the risk in Honor Mode and is at best a 12% chance to get him to drop it as far as I know. No clue on Tabaxi monk. I looked it up real quick, and I'm surprised theres no 3rd Party Mod doing that already. Looks cool.

@garsenchannel556 there is a modder CobaltOwl who is working on the Tabaxi race mod for Baldur's Gate 3. Currently it's on the 0.5 version and looks very cool. I hope it's gonna be done in a couple of months.

@@garsenchannel556 well the mod is on the creator's patreon page. But he'll release it once it hits the 1.0 version and then release it for free on other platforms. He did the same with cosmetic mods for Cyberpunk 2077 and X-COM 2.

Youre not wrong. Though, I think plenty of other builds reach this level of consistent damage, even in honor mode. I will be doing a video on Shadow abuse which is literally broken as opposed overtuned monk synergies.

for 12 cleric light or life are the strongest depending on the rest of the party, tempest by far best for multiclass tho

depends entirely on the role you want them to fill, tempest for ranged dps/support, life for heal/support, war for upclose support, and light for everything else

Yeah! I like 8/4 personally but I didnt wanna shove it in there as a necessity. Ki Booms IS fun so I wouldnt knock anyone for taking it. Also, correct about Astation as a good choice. HUGE bonus damage for being evil vamp.

Karlach is actually better, soul coins give 2d4 fire damage to unarmed strikes and can be used through the whole game, not just 1d10 at the end of the game

That’s Astarion’s base scores, with a -1 from smuggler’s ring. He just didn’t respec for the minmaxxy stats.

Or, be a halfling in addition to being a rogue. Divination wizard is only twice per day, so not really worth it if spamming like shown in the video

Awesome! Down and dirty answers for 2 other builds would be Big 'carries' for Honor Mode would be a Eldritch Blast Warlock: Just build high Charisma. Good damage and 'Face' character. Light Domain Cleric: Build for "Radiant Orb" status. Cleric is such an easy caster to coast/rely on. Just don't think of Cleric as a "healer." If anything, I'd be down to cover both in two simple videos. I used them in my HM run with the Monk. Hope thats a start. Thanks for the idea in kind.

Exactly. Thats why I tried not to gloss over it in the end. Though I highlighted a multiclass you wouldn't need to touch Thief until level 7, around the time those builds are finally coming into their own.

The strongest Dps in the game in order. - 1 Pala/Bard - 2 Assassin/GloomStalker - 3 Monk - 4 Evocation Wizard - 5 Berserker Thrower Also for helmet on your monk is best the one that give you +damage as your wisdom. Im a Druid player, in fact i only play druid. Druid with Necro/Wizard are the best controller in the game. Druid is more versatile and wizard have more dps.

@@ThorVeras While I have rarely used Druid in my runs, I recognize how versatile the class is and especially good with utility/control. Control is probably underappreciated. Spike Growth is crazy, and having a summon be able to recast it over and over is WILD. Also, do tell about the helmet. Apparently I don't know about it?

I have come up with one, that can keep up with a TB Monk. Although barely without resources and outdamages a TB monk when using spellslots. 5/2/5 Githyanki Warlock/Paladin/Fighter.(Only on tactician, I'm currently testing a build for honour mode, which would be half orc with rogue instead of fighter.) Githyanki is actually important here because of gith gear. 5 levels of warlock, pact of the blade for 2 attacks and level 3 spell slots. 2 levels of paladin for smiting, 5 levels of champion fighter for 3 attacks and increased crit chance. With sarevok's helmet, the deadshot and an elixir of viciousness you crit from 16-20, with the risky ring that's effectively a 50% crit chance. Helldusk gloves, ring of regen and the broodmother's revenge give you 2 additional damage dice, the silver sword of the astral plane has 3d6 normally if you're gith. So you have a 50% chance to crit for 10d6+3+charisma at the endgame. With a smite on crit that's another 8d8. 9d8 against undead. On paper it outdamages a monk. In short bursts. The Monk can keep the damage up though, even without resources he consistently can do 200+point of damage with just his action and bonus actions. My gith padlock build needs haste to outdamage the monk under ideal circumstances. If all 6 attacks crit, that's a potential damage output of 360, while the monk with 2 more attacks will be in the ballpark of 300. As I said, on paper it outdamages the monk. In practice it gets close to him. Which is quite huge already if you ask me.

Too many, kek. For the sake of the demo/walkthrough, no mods were relevant to get the gear. Most of it is cosmetic mods. The stuff you saw in my inventory is basically the Bhaal gear a modder made. Its a bunch of OP stuff I use to quickly blitz through the start of the game to get to the Grove and set up the demo (or even start a new custom run for fun quickly). Just search "Bhaal" in the in-game Manager. And of course, thanks!

Yes! You can use container glitches if you think pickpocketing is a dumb/boring mechanic. But patches to the game make it clear this isn't intended. I've used container glitch for a few runs when I didn't want to spend time pickpocketing, but I try to respect the limits the devs or game has set for me (So I can learn and break them). Honestly, at this point you can just run a Custom Settings and change the prices to low if you're not after some silly achievement. I don't have any issue with how others play their own game, so have at it.

You only loose a merchant if you kill him. You can even knock him down and on next day offer a coins to regain your reputation

Yes, exactly. I am the latter, I had no idea about DnD rules and Dice rolls, and just generally rolled my eyes at dialogue and ability checks like Sleight of Hand. Honor mode required me to gitgud and now I appreciate these mechanics. Thanks for the additional breakdown on the actual number shown, btw.

I have a boatload of hours and quite a few runs, and have never encountered it. I had heard about it, and for whatever reason during my stream I even catch myself thinking "Well, what if THIS TIME this supposed glitch happens." So, I just sent one down, and go figure, I get the glitch.
