Thank you! Yeah Atlantis is putting out a lot of old Monogram and companies models.

Yep, it’s cool that Atlantis is coming back out with kits for that nostalgia from back in the day.

Its actually a 1955 Monogram tooling.

Yeah I've been working on it the last few days. All I got to do is paint it and finish putting it together and I'll put a video up when I'm done.

This kit was originally an Aurora kit from 1956 according to scalemates. So it's a pretty old mold.

Yeah, you can only get so much detail out of a smaller scale and from a kit from back in the day.

The AMT kit in 1/48 scale is very limiting in detail.....TAMIYA SHOULD GET TO MAKE IT FOR US WHO WANT ONE....RIGHT??

From what I remember the instructions were a little confusing too. I do have a second one of these, I never finished it due to me making modifications to it that I never finished.

I also wanted to let you know that I have a model car channel that I primarily focus on and I get aircraft when I can and there’s going to be times I may not have anything to upload on here. But I’m hoping to start to get more aircraft in the future.

@@austinsothermodels no worries at all my friend. You have a seperate channel for the cars? I build a bit of everything , although predominantly model cars and plan to just throw in the occasional aircraft or whatever random thing I build on my channel. And we all have real life. I have no schedule behind my uploads at all. Just whenever I get time.

Yeah, it’s called ‘Austin’s Model Cars’. I build primarily model cars and trucks, with the occasional aircraft. At first I didn’t care but then I created this channel to keep the aircraft and model cars/trucks separate. For the model car channel, I schedule out my videos for every Tuesday and Thursday and for this channel I put out videos when I can on Fridays.

@@kyledehartsscaleworks I thought I left a comment before but if I didn’t, yes I have a separate channel for cars. ‘Austin’s Model Cars’ is what it’s called. I did have a couple videos on that channel that were aircraft related that I put on this channel.
