This.Bird.Knits Trapping Long Floats for Color Work Knitting

This tutorial video demonstrates the technique I like to use for trapping long floats using two handed color work knitting. I strongly suggest that you are comfortable knitting with both hands (using both Continental and English or Throwing methods). Happy knitting! xo
Thank you. I’ve used this with two tops that I love already, but now I love them even more. The neck is more stable, doesn’t feel sloppy, I don’t have to keep tugging at it to keep it where I want it.👍
How does it look finished?
Annie.....Your video has by far helped me to understand this I CORD technique as compared to at least five other ones. BTW...how did you decide to choose needle size for the I CORD? tHANK YOU...
Thank you so, so much for this amazingly beautiful and rewarding finish to a neckline. I was having problems with other techniques. This one is beautuful. I know I will use it again and again.
This is exactly what I needed to see to help with my cardigan sweater cast on neck edge that is too loose. Would like to have seen your finished results.
Can you please share the name of the pattern you used for the sweater? The little design at 0.29 is very pretty. Thank you!
Where can we get the pattern for the garment you are knitting ?
Thank you for this tutorial.
Hi Annie, Before the iCord, what’s the knit stitch ? Thank you so much. Have a nice day.
I would have liked to see you do the very end too. thank you
What is the design stitches you use for the top it look so pretty like checker board.
I could not tell: when you picked up and knit, did you go through both sides of the “v”, or only one? I enjoyed this video. Thank you. 🌻
Thank you! Great video, with clear, easy-to-understand instructions.
It's well explained but u didn't show how it ended, but thanks any way
Very well explained but would have loved to see the final result, cant believe you didn't show us, so very fisapointing
What method did you use to bind off the neckline? thank you!
Great video! I'm doing your Sandoval now and loving it
Simply explained, thank you. 👌. 🐢

Hi Annie - this technique has been revolutionary for me. Thank you so much! Would you mind if I linked this to an upcoming pattern of mine? I'd love to spread this knowledge!!! Many thanks & all the best Beth
The date is off by almost a year, this was recorded and posted 11/11/19...and I mis-spoke, the grey in this video is actually the Knight Scene Color Way by Sugar Plum Circus....sorry for any confusion.
