All of these things drive me insane. I always told my friends that I hate classical and acoustic guitars because of the reasons mentioned above. They then proceed to recommend me, according to them, really good players that don't have any of these sounds appearing when they play. They must be deaf, because I clearly hear it, even from the best of the best. It's so awful, how the fk can anyone listen to this sht?

One thing I’ve been struggling with is recording noise, like a “hiss” kind of sound. In order to get rid of it I have to either turn my gain down on my interface to the point where the recording is super low volume, or EQ it out by remove a massive chunk of high end frequencies. Neither solution is great obviously. Edit: I should clarify that recording at low gain to reduce hiss and then turning up the volume of the track in my DAW doesn’t work because when I turn the volume up on the DAW it just reintroduces the hiss, even if I recorded with low gain.

Sor op. 60. By the way, did you mention that a very good reason to play « easier » pieces is to improve the tone, I mean, RH string attack? The LH is not an issue, so your attention can focus entirely on tone production.

The general consensus is most people prefer 432Hz, which many believe is in harmony with our bodies. Therefore, it begs the question why did they change the standard to 440Hz against the musicians of the time wishes, when 432Hz is clearly better?

There is one more annoying noise happens just when I release the left hand fingers from the fingerboard. I couldn’t find any solution for that. For example when I press the A chord then release, the b,g,d strings vibrates. Maybe thats just me and my guitar.

Aye boss this is just a thought, I feel like you expect that the avg listener recognizes any of these classical songs? I mean there's key and time signature changes every other measure and the melodies aren't memorable... Why not play something where people don't have to listen so much to the melody and then try to remember what both sounded like post-listening, something simple and easily recognizable. I mean throw 1 classical in there I guess cause that would promote your style or w/e you wanna call it but yeah I have an alto clef tattoo on my arm and I was paying too much attention to the song and not its fundamental frequency, just a thought tho

So here is the deal, it's really just a question, I would say that it is simple, but I suspect it is not. First, I am not a musician. I do, however, have perfect pitch with my ears and am extremely sensitive. What you and I have in common is this: healthy skeptism. This is going to sound, at 1st, I think, so utterly ridiculous to you, because it is obvious that you are studied in your art. I am not a novice, I just have a good ear. I am a writer. DIving head-first into the elementararily absurd, the suggestion has been made that the Nazis thought 1 of these Hz was more aggressive and violent. Wouldn't surprise me. Well-known popular film which I hesitate to name b/c it is so commonplace that it's importance might not be regarded as having any significance whatsoever. Having listened to your music (which there is not enough of for those of us who long for this beauty which we cannot ourselves create) and having listened to you long enough to recognize your intelligence. Uh, question is so stupid. I wanted to have some understanding of music, but now I simply appreciate the beauty and, frankly, I think too much knowledge, for me, would remove that completely pure mystery, no intellectual puzzle, just appreciation. So, in, The Sound of Music, and I was a child when I 1st saw this film, nothing else puzzled me, everything else made perfect sense. I don't always get lyrics completely and I am not pulling out the DVD right now. Something like this: Doe, a deer, a female deer; Ray, a drop of golden sun; Me, a name I call myself; Far, a a long, long way to run; Tea, a drink with jam and bread... When you know the notes to sing, you can sing most anything... There is no Ray, no R note. There is no Tea, no T note. Maybe an indication that most Brits and Scots weren't Nazis. There is no Me, no M note. This is so stupid. I am not young, but it has never made sense to me Is it really about Music which is a word in the title of the film. Or is it more complicated? I don't watch your vids often, b/c I just want to hear your playing and mostly you are instructing others. I just want to hear you play. I listen to others. You choose good compositions. To me, I am asking such a child's question. And the Hz thing has become a bit of a deal. There are an infinite number of ways the film could have been named. Let me also, as a writer point out what to me is obvious: Any Musiical Could Be Named: The Sound of Music. I know this particular 1 is about singers, but not just any singers at any time or place. I know so little about music. I will just politely close this with the humble and sincere words: I am an idiot.

I closed my eyes. I have been scrutinizing musical tone intensively. literally all my life since the womb (my mother played music for me there). Hearing this the 432 sounds more like music sounded to me as a child. Somewhat more comforting and familiar. Whereas the 440 notes seem to be separate, each standing alone brightly, the 432 notes seem to connect together, harmonize better, yielding a warmer more comforting tonal quality. My judgement that I will definitely prefer to tune at 432, especially for classical pieces. The 440 seems brighter and more artificial bordering on exaggeration. I am definitely more comforted by the 432.

To me, whenever i tune down to 432 hz i find that the open strings sound a lot more clean for some reason, and all the open chords that come with them. Like just a simple A->E cadence sounds much better on 432 than on 440 imo
