It’s hard to beat a good team twice… and that’s why I believe, it would be perfectly fine with me if the Griz end up on our side. to be able to beat the griz twice in one season would hopefully quiet the teddy Bear faithful in a very serious way. The next matchup could be close but they can’t beat us. Not this year.

Love that the Lobos threw all those blitzes at us in this first game. Excellent way to point out our weaknesses and learn to fix them

They get some easier opponents for the next couple of games to get things dialed in and work on their flaws from this game. Either way, it’s a good win and good start to the season

That was an epic comeback win! Good for the big sky. Looks like Tommy struggled when he got under pressure. Hopefully they can address that as the season goes on…. preferably after they play against my vandals

I’m a vandal fan so I’m biased but from what I’ve seen: 1. Idaho 2. UC Davis or Montana State 4. Weber 5. EWU, sac or Griz Montana on defense lost their entire secondary, Braxton hill at LB and All American Nose tackle Gubner and on offense they lost an all American center and very good qb. If they find comparable replacements for Mcdowell and Gubner they will be very good, however I’m going to bet that doesn’t happen and they end up around 7-5. I see either North Dakota or ECU exposing them early. Weber’s defense is extremely good and towards the end of the season they started building momentum with their new qb. I see them continuing that momentum and being a very hard team to beat. I think Idaho will have the best defense in the conference this year, a much improved o line and will not see a drop in the quality of the QB

Montana’s protected rivals are MSU and Portland state. It’s ridiculous they don’t play Idaho every year!

Please, you guys should know what a capable rushing game and o line look like for the cats and I can count 10 performances in last 2 years where lane looked more explosive and much more productive.
