Sorry for late reply..if you want Darjeeling offbeat.. then plan for Dawaipani, rangaroon or chatakpur… these places are serene and kanchenjhanga is clearly visible.. Then if you are planning Kalimpong side, you can visit charkhole, kaffergaon,kolakham… Or if you are planning sikkim the Ravangla upper side, temi tea garden, those sides.. but i would recommend first option, i mean Darjeeling offbeat as it’s more convenient for a solo traveller..
