My Top 17 (with comments) 17. San Marino - it feels a bit to bland for me, sorry. It's lacking a highlight. 16. North Macedonia - the only "run, run, run" I want to hear this year is from Germany's Eurovision entry. 15. Albania - I like the spooky and mystic vibe, but that's about it. 14. Georgia - Mzeo 2.0. fr. The music video is lacking a connection to the lyrics for me. I would've thought it was a song about nature without knowing the english lyrics or the title. The music video is pretty, though. 13. Italy - I don't think it will stand out enough, especially not because it's the opener of the show. The song also doesn't really gives Simone the chance to show off his vocals. 12. Cyprus - It's a nice summer song, but besides from the dancebreak it's a bit mid for me. It could get the "returning bonus" though, like Luxembourg at Eurovision this year. 11. The Netherlands - Not a bad song, but also not very fresh. 10. Poland - A bit old fashioned, but I actually like that about it. Dominik is a very charismatic performer. 9. Armenia - Very good, especially the music video, but I prefer other armenian entries. I think Leo and Chloe have the most confidence this year. 8. Ukraine - Great voice, great staging, great choreography. This is going to do very well. 7. Estonia - Big improvement from last year, much more original and modern. 6. Portugal - Again, big improvement from last year. Great voice and a strong song. They do need to have a compelling staging though, a simple piano isn't going to be enough. 5. Ireland - So different from last year, and in a good way! I'm glad they're trying something different this year. 4. Malta - beautiful message, beautiful voice and a magical music video. 3. Germany - The revamp really improved the song. He also has a great voice. 2. France - Another great song! It's a good mix between junior and adult. 1. Spain - The most junior song this year and I love that. Like I said earlier, Leo and Chloe seem to have the most confidence, and rightfully so! The arena is going to be on fire 🔥🔥🔥 Please note that these comments only reflect my opinion. Basically, I find it interesting to see how ESC fans react to certain elements in performances when not given the context beforehand. My Top 16 From Australia 🇦🇺 1. Ukraine 🇺🇦 Artem Kotenko - Hear Me Now (As much as I prefer Zlata this is still winning Potential. The whole selection was strong and If I had to predict now Ukraine is winning this year) 2. Netherlands 🇳🇱 Stay Tuned - Music (This before the JSF Grand Final was just ahead of Veronika for me. After the JSF Grand Final I think this is still close but now but its somewhat comfortably ahead of Veronika. There was only 1 song I didn't like in JSF and that was HSD but the rest was really good IMO. Hope this does well) 3. Cyprus 🇨🇾 Maria Pissarides - Crystal Waters (This song is made so be sung live. Its good but it will sound better just for being sung Live. Assuming nothing goes horribly wrong for Cyprus in Madrid this will rise up my list after JESC and is definitely winner Potential) 4. Portugal 🇵🇹 Victoria Nicole - Espreança (If A ballad can win JESC then this song is winner potential. I really like it her vocals are probably the best and Im interested to see how this goes in Madrid. If she Finishes outside the Top 5 then Portugal have been robbed) 5. France 🇫🇷 Titouan - Comme Ci, Comme Ça (As someone learning French I'm always keen to hear what France sends to Both Adult or Junior Eurovision Because I always know it will be in French? Is this France best song ever? No. Did anyone including Myself want it too be? No. Is France going to keep their incredible record with this song? Oui Oui. This will probably be Top 5. I feel bad for Titouan because he did nothing wrong yet everyone wants him to lose. Also France keep up there run of Changing which Gender they send when the win and sending the same gender when they lose since 2018.) 6. Italy 🇮🇹 Simone Grande - Pigiama Party (This has to be the Most underrated song in JESC so far. Is it the best song? No. Is it Bottom 4 or 5 worthy? Absolutely not. Its hard to know how his vocals sound and I wouldn't mind hearing a live version of this) 7. San Marino 🇸🇲 Idols SM - Come Noi (There is a bit of a gap Between Italy and San Marino. I like this song. Its not my favorite by any stretch of the imagination but I do think its a nice song and would chose to listen to it sometimes. I reckon it will not get out of the Bottom 4 or 5 but they look like they are having fun anyway) 8. Albania 🇦🇱 Nikol Çabeli - Vallëzoj (I didnt notice much of a difference between the Original and the Revamp but I do like it. I dont know why but Im interested to see how this will go in Spain) 9. I thought this would be mid from start to finish but It started well but went nowhere and it eventually lost my attention towards the end) 10. To be fair "Anyone I Want To Be" and "Superhero" are really good songs so is "Somebody" and "To The Moon" but I dont think this is a good national final but It would make a great TV show format with a kids version and Adults version but as an NF it is not good. The song isn't great and as good as Dominiks voice is it doesnt help this song and is very uninteresting and Could come last) 16. Malta 🇲🇹 Ramires Sciberras - Stilla Ćkejkna (This song is very uninteresting and there is no noticeable difference between the Original and the Revamp)
