This was a fixed fight. Someone must have slipped some Dope into Klitscho's water bottle in the later rounds. Or perhaps Klitscho just threw the fight to make Big $$ off the odds. The way that he started to crumble so suddenly in the 10th Round just wasn't believable for me.

These announcers are crap. Mathis was shoved down, it's obvious. "You can see bowe landing some fairly solid punches" - announcer Like only one hit Mathis and he was rolling with it, so it wasn't that much of a shot. Then bowe leans on him and shoves him down.

I watched this again and again over the past 10 years. :) As the anchorman said, "The introduction, interviews, the referee instructions lasted longer than the fight itself."

Where was all these rounds that Roy was winning? Montell was darn near pitching a shutout with an exception to the knockdown round. To watch this fight without bias is different from rooting for your favorite boxer at the time.

I know Roy wasn’t doing much to start the fight but my goodness the announcers weren’t calling it fair. It’s like when GGG doesn’t ko a dude in 3 rounds, they start acting like the other guy’s winning. Just because Roy wasn’t throwing 100 punches a round doesn’t mean Montell was winning them. He was doing even less than Roy was. I’d give Montell a few rounds but it was frustrating to listen to Larry & Jim act as if Roy was getting killed in there. He won almost every round after the 3rd
