this was my first ever experience with the Chelicerate i was out driving in my seatruck, for some reason my fov was low af, i just see a crypto chilling, and suddenly out of the edge of my fov this red motherfucker comes charging mouth open towards the Crypto. i didnt get scared often in below zero, and i think of it as lesser than the main game in a lot of areas, but the improved sense of scale really sells the leviathan interactions sometimes

First off, considering the Cryptosuchus is *not* small as is, that puts the Chelicerate's size in horrifying perspective if it did eat the smaller critter. Second, that's like Critical Role campaign 3. Fighting what they think is an attack by a flock of cockatrices, only to learn the flock was running from something worse. Won't say what, but it's scary to think of what could scare a creature that turns others to stone.
