ITA: Primo sparatutto di Valve, pubblicato il 19 novembre 1998. Mosso dal motore grafico GoldSRC, basato sul motore Quake 1. Il gioco fu rivoluzionario, caratterizzato da un mondo credibile, non usa filmati in CGI ne pezzi di intermezzo, tutto è sotto gli occhi del giocatore, che ha sempre il controllo del protagonista.
ENG: First shooter by Valve, released in 19 november 1998. It was powered by GoldSRC engine, based on Quake 1 engine. The game was revolutionary, it don't uses cgi introduction or any cutscene, everything is next to the eye of the player, who is always in control of the protagonist.
