Man, I’m excited about this product. Cannot wait to see the video putting it on the force bow mount, that’s what I run on my aluminum boat. I’m sort of cramped in the front with the big foot pedal. Be so glad to get rid of that. Can’t wait to see the videoI’ve converted the force over.

you mentioned only works with 55lb when i pre ordered says compatible with newport kayak 36-55, will it work on the 36?

I really wish that the AutoBoat would be cheaper. We can have a COMPLETE Haswing bowmount 55# 12v unit for 300$USD more, and it has a foot pedal, a basic remote and an app. That's my biggest pet peeves with the AutoBoat. It doesn't feel worth it yet at that pricepoint with the tinkering needed and the warranty voids it implies. It's still a very cool unit though, just think it needs a lil something extra to make it worth it.

Great idea but the 25a max draw at 12v would limit it's application to peripheral electronics only as a 55lbs 12v trolling motor would exceed this amperage correct? I'm hoping to power my electric-only jon boat with a 48v ePropulsion Navy 6.0 outboard and was hoping to be able to run the 12v 55lbs Minn Kota Maxxum bow mount off of the same 48v battery for simplicity and charging sake. Are you aware of any ways to accomplish this?

The million dollar question is is all the time/effort invested worth the boat? A simple marine grade plywood fix probably would have sufficed without misleading folks to set a whole new line of rivets and remove their factory supports. Tiny boat nation is just looking for a way to make money at this point

When did anchoring while fishing become legal in B.A.S.S. tournaments? Also doesn't this defeat the purpose of a spot lock trolling motor, which was touted as the easiest way to hold your boat in position?

Semi Quick Release would be more honest vs the misleading name of quick release. There's nothing quick about having to find the right tools for the job. Especially when wanting to park inside your garage during a lightning storm.

EV technology is great! I've enjoyed having a high power 75hp Stealth electric outboard on my 17' bow rider runabout. Excellent choice for the type of lake boating we enjoy. We can go over 20 miles on one charge. The top speed is 27 MPH and the last time out, we pulled the raft for fun. See video at: mark's gas to electric boat conversion. Go Electric!

Air skiff is awesome. So many ways to rig, insanely durable, and easy to launch anywhere. I often forget it is inflatable.

Anyone know if these are compatible with a minnkota traxxis?

I've spoken to Ryan a little bit over email, but if I use a few of these 32AH batteries linked together and you crimp the the proprietory connections off with ring terminals, where do those ring terminals go?..... will the range (distance at current speed) on the side throttle LCD still calculate correctly, since I was told the battery % will only be an estimate, due to those proprietory connections not being functional with this aftermarket battery. Thanks for any guidance.

I know it is not sexy but it is vital to our enjoyment and after all mods you are not loading your Jon boat into the back of a pick up truck. How to modify, how to avoid boat damage, best bunks,pretty sure you can put an hour together. Keep it up gentlemen. You need to post the whiskey rankings in every episode description. A reference for nights in the garage doing work. Cheers

I hunt and fish out of a 1648 jon boat with surface drive. Mine has the middle bench removed which is great for walking around in and makes more hauling space. Flat floor is way better than tripping over ribs in the dark. Front deck is big enough for bow fishing or someone to sit in a chair up there. Gun box long enough for rods would be great for the extra storage while hunting. Wiring for a depth finder should be included. I will be interested in seeing what you come up with for storage compartments that don't take up too much floor space. Mine definitely needs some. I had to add float pods to handle the weight of the 23 HP mud buddy.

I wish this was available when I had to rework some scrap to make mine work. Next time I need one I know where to go...
