I remember seeing him in Lords of Dogtown and just thinking: “wow, he is a brilliant actor”… used to think he was just decent before. Then obviously his joker performance was a masterpiece.

Its disrescpetful to him as an actor, as if the joker was inhabiting him rather than the other way around. Even in this interview, his mannerisms are not traditional characteristics of the joker, those are traits that heath brought to the character

anyone commenting about how he’s “high in this interview” and the joker “stayed with him in this interview coz he still licks his lips and moved his hands around a lot” please shut up... if you knew anything abt heath you would know those things aren’t unusual for him. he used to always lick his lips and fidget ESPECIALLY in interviews because he gets nervous for interviews. he said once “i move my hands a lot and move around a lot when i’m nervous” like pls just stop commenting abt things you don’t understand, it’s arrogant and rather annoying

I like Heath Ledger, one of my favorite actors, but losing a LIFE because of one roll... Not worth it.... Sometimes i just don't get this " method" acting... There is a story about Dustin Hoffman, when he tried to become anxsious for a roll, and he tried to become it for real, and his friend just told him" Why don't just act?"... Why it's called ACTING then if you had to become a character for real
