The Deadliest Nerd
США
Добавлен 6 май 2020
Welcome to my channel. I play plenty of games and decided I should start making content from all that time spent playing them. I enjoy games of all kinds but have a special love for tactical shooters, RPGs, and fighting games. For now I'll be putting up a variety of content and learning as I go.
My goal here is to have interesting and funny content but also delve into applicable knowledge. Anything from weapons, tactics, and physics to the art of learning how to efficiently learn. Hopping this can turn into more than just a hobby one day so if you like the content please engage and share it with like minded individuals, thank you!

Applying Speed, Aggression and Surprise in Gaming
This is the first high effort video I've made for the channel. Hope you enjoy it!

Ready or Not weapon and gear overview + Shoothouse (Feb 2022 build)

Decided to finally upload my very first video. Big thanks to anyone taking the time to watch it!
That was cinematic 🫡
@@MouseRat333 Dude it felt like we were in a movie!
And battlefield thinks this is realistic
I'd really like to see the next Battlefield lean more into the feel of something like Squad or Hell Let Loose. I know that's pissing in the wind, but a milsim with millions of EA's money thrown at it sounds awesome on paper.
Blitzkrieger
Dude those were some awesome shots!!! Nice work, love the Hunt Showdown content! 🤙🏼
Thanks BROTHER!!!
Good corner pie.
😂😂😂😂😂
The full video is extremely well done.
Thank you sir!
Thanks for this. Learned a lot. Subscribed
lol
Really good info! I'd enjoy a follow-up with some in-depth OODA Loop talk. One point of constructive feedback - making the visuals match the concepts you are talking about (e.g. 5:14 story about Hunt Showdown) would reinforce what you are teaching more. Either way, nice video! Hop you have a Merry Christmas!
I'll try and pair that up better in the future. Was missing footage for both Hunt examples. It's ironic because it's probably my most played game of the ones I showed. Thank you and Merry Christmas!
Well put together and really enjoyable to listen to. Keep up the good work!
Thank you sir!
😂😂😂
Absolutely fantastic topic and delivery, can’t wait for more from you
Nice quality mate. ❤
Thank you! I learned a ton from making this, looking forward to doing more.
RUclips randomly recommending me an Incredibly well done and interesting video yet again. Shame this only was your second video, I was really hoping for more. Wish we all get to see more from you!
Thank you! I think I'm going to make 4 or 5 new videos and release them all at the same time so there is more to watch. I appreciate it!
Street sweeper coming in clutch
@@MouseRat333, Hahaha! Great name for that random ass car.
Dude this is BADASS. Very nice work. Can’t wait to see more from you.
Thank you sir!
That “hayellll yes” was valid
This is sick bro!! Great work.
The realism is awesome. Nice shots
This is sick, gonna have to try this!
I recommend this game to everyone who likes tactical shooters. It goes on sale regularly and I love the atmosphere in it.
To me it has a more creepy atmosphere than Ready or Not even though they are dealing with almost identical subject matter. I think it's just the graphics of the time combined with the ambient sound. Every level almost feel haunted in a weird way.
@thedeadliestnerd6021 the first level and the apartment or hotel with the writing all over the walls felt especially creepy. I used to be a cop so I've been in some bad places and they nailed the vibe of knowing there's a psycho somewhere in the house. I have far more time in SWAT than Ready or Not, but I preordered it as soon as it was available. My names should be in the credits but I couldn't find my receipt 😔
@@Dkclemons1 That's awesome man! After spending some time in law enforcement games like SWAT and RON hit different.
@@thedeadliestnerd6021 they truly do. Certain hallways and stairways in these games give me anxiety because of real life things that have happened. I've always preferred these over military shooters but I really like those as well. If you like guns, I would recommend Receiver as well. It's not like this at all, but they went the extra mile in accuracy on reloading and gun mechanics. Doorkickers is also very good, but top down.
@@Dkclemons1I’ll have to check out Receiver! I have a lot of time in Doorkickers and its sequel, those games are great. Probably gonna do some content explaining CQB in the future and the top down view of Doorkickers is excellent for showing that kind of thing.
Hey bro, gonna pad your watch time, lol.
Awesome video, I like how you related the physics of the weapons in the game to real life, superior knowledge drop. Would love to see you upload some in-match footage of this and other games.
Stumbled upon this. I thought you explained greatly about the gear and its functions. Good job man i hope you have a successful career.
Thank you for the feedback! I appreciate it. Should have more stuff coming up soon. Busy with Elden Ring currently.
