Here is another cheap solution. I own a 64 impala ss with hydraulics. The oil holes are a pain. I asked our local gas station that had a cream holder that you pump out. I asked them to save me the empty pumps. I added a clear hose and a gas line pinch clamp. So I just pump the oil I need out. It works awesome 👌 no mess

I did this same thing back in 98. Got all my parts at Grand Junqtion in Va Bch Va. Filled my manual trans on my Toyota.

Personally i just buy a easy squeeze bag of 90w75 theyre only $2 more and just save it to refill an reuse or buy a icing piping bag when i need to use grease at odd angles (wont work for oils unless you like mess)

Oh, good. My advice has finally reached the internet. Next up: How to use the Capacitance setting on your multimeter to find a bare spot on a wire that intermittently shorts out a circuit --- Isolate the circuit, hook one lead to ground, the other to the circuit, and run your hand along the wire with the other hand on the chassis or ground. When your reading changes dramatically, you've found it. Use the lowest capacitance range for this. Nanofarad or picofarad range.

Get the valvaline gear oil in fluid bag and reuse the bag

just use 2 feet of rubber tube slip one in over the taper on the cap and flip the bottle squeeze 2 bucks last forever.

Fluid pump is less than $10 at good old Harbor Freight.

I repurpose the sprayer bottle’s that ant killer or weed killer comes in. Just remove the tip.

I use an old electric soldering gun(the old gun style with the light, and trigger) to heat TX valve hardware, it works awesome! No flame, and it's real easy to direct the heat.

46re. The 47re had ribs on the top of the trans near the overdrive unit. I don't believe they offered the 47 in the vans, but I could be wrong.
