Mine is the same tap, but it has no numbers,only red lines, going from little to longer,is it the same principle?

Could you explain how much to tighten the brass nut? Will the valve bind if the nut is over tightened or come off if under tightened?

im only getting hot or cold no in between with a brand new shower we had the cartridge replaced with another new one and still the same issue. could this be a pump issue or something else?

Clear video but a question on the valve. After taking off the cover, screw and dial body the brass valve no longer wants to move even if I reassemble it. How would I fix this thanks?

I did this just now. I turned the nob as far anti clockwise as it would go and put the control nob back on at 38 and when turned to maximum it's still not as hot as it should be. Any suggestions please

If my temperature side too close to the wall for me to get a screwdriver in, would I have to take the whole thing off and readjust it? The red button doesn't lock and so it turns freely and the water stays hot 🤷‍♂️

Just an update. Lakesshoweringspaces have sorted the issue and replaced the enclosure. Service from them was fantastic. Would not have any problems recommending them or indeed hesitate purchasing their products in the future. The protective coating works extremely well. The advice by the engineer was to use a diluted clear vinegar in water around 3 water : 1 vinegar and spray after shower once a week or so, depending on usage, and leave it over night. Then clean shower as usual after each use. The vinegar spray helps to reduce the build up of limescsle and the coating should last for many years.

Just purchased 8mm 800 quadrant with allclear coating. This includes two doors and two side panels.end of week one after installation noticed that 3 items starting to show signs of water spots and water was not beading and running off. We are following manufacturer instructions and cleaning after each use. Unfortunately only one door appears to have been coated. This actually works. I've logged issue with shop where the bathroom items were purchased. I will wait another couple of days to give them a chance to update and come up with a solution. Shower quad certainly not cheap. Disappointed at the moment.

This helped me as I have the same type of shower mixer valve, the knob that produces the speed of the water coming out was getting loose didn't know how to tighten the knob & thought I'd have to buy a whole new unit until I saw this video!

What do you do if the knob is all the way as far as it can go anti clockwise but the shower is still only Luke warm? The water from the sink faucet is very hot so it is not a problem with my boiler
