I can't really play well without skill transparency as I cancel by looking at my characters motion instead of skill animation, and character outline with full skill effects is not enough for me to distinguish character animations But I can look into on screen keyboard display for future videos 👍

Thanks, I always (try to) end weapon skills with either pursuit or thrash into maelstrom, even on 0as it’s important to cancel the end delay on weapon arts skills to cram in more attacks even if it’s just another hit of thrash. This is including combos as all combos end with a cancellable weapon skill 👍

@@bambiellesorry for my 2nd question; but do you even combo your skills? Cause it looks to me like u press a cd skill, cancel that wnd then do another skill. Is that correct or do you combo multiple skills and then cancel? Sorry its hard to understand 😅

I would say 50/50 because in a lot of cases the cooldowns will line up and clear up together, but generally I would never wait for cd to do a specific combo that is way too much dps loss, even claw is used alone frequently Only scenario where I would wait would be if my burst was coming up and I want everything to be cleared from cd before I use vet or LR

Thank you, I think a good keybind is absolutely crucial for this class to have access to all your skills on demand, without fumbling around. Comboing and play style can differ from boss to boss and for lotus I try to utilize the movement of my skills a lot to stay close but avoid attacks. I mostly use ground scim for movement in p1 to avoid legs or to detonate bombs, in p2 scim for DS on demand to wipe the debris. I also try to latch onto the boss while pursuit cancelling so that I can pull myself in if I need to relocate.

Sorry, I can’t give my input on comparison as I have not played an Ark past a legion mule. Cadena cancels are very unique though, as each skill has a different timing for cancelling and with the class revolving around CD skips, you really have to know and feel every skill at your fingertips. It’s a class with an extremely high skill ceiling, which I think is what makes the class so so much fun, as you can infinitely improve the more you play

Ark is not very high apm compared to Cadena, I play both. Especially if you pursuit cancel on cad. The only similarity is really that pursuit + weapon art can kinda feel like ark's nightmare + 4 spectre skills but the timing is faster and there's way more combinations. Cadena is also burst heavy currently due to origin, but yes it does have much higher dpm than Ark.

You can reset up pursuit with the jump key, so while up pursuit is extending you press the jump key to reset it over and over

There’s nothing in particular I do specifically for this boss, I suppose I use air combos more frequently than other bosses in p3 to avoid kaling
