The Willis girls are so pretty. It's so sad what happened to them. Well this incest relation happened with Marilyn Elaine Van Derbur, the Miss Colorado 1957. She gives testimony and counselling. The girls could perhaps consider contacting her or write to her for counselling. It would help them.

What you may not know is that this family is worth tens of millions due to a payout from a vehicle accident that killed their relatives.

I understand them not telling anyone. I was a victim (now a survivor) of sexual abuse from my two older brothers (thank God not my dad). I said I would never tell my husband or mom. Then one day it came out to my mom when one brother was having trouble in his marriage. I said this cant hurt you anymore than they have now... She said to me "I thought something was going on". I was SHOCKED!! I did not talk to her for two weeks. I was going to a AL anon meeting due to the one brother drinking and I told the leader and I told her what my mom said. She said for me to go back to her and mend things. I did and am so glad I did. A couple years later mom my told me she was raped as a child from some strangers she got in the car with back in the '40's(small town in Ark.) which is why she didn't ask me anything. It would bring her rape up that was hidden so deep. She did tell me that some of her 13 other siblings had had sex with each other but that was all she said at that time. Back in 1992 we adopted a little 3 yr old girl who was rapped by her mom, dad, brother and God only knows who else. He served a 12 out of 15 yr sentence and we started a not for profit organization (Mothers Outraged at Molesters, M.O.M.s) Unfortunately we had to close after 15 yrs due to funding. WE did a lot with little funds! Fast forward to 2010 after one brother passed and she had in 2009 I finally told my husband as well as younger daughter that was not abused. I was able to have therapy via my oldest daughters (one abused) when she was in it I was able to talk alone with them at times. I worked with many families that the mother knew it was going on but was afraid of the consequence's if she told or was afraid of physical abuse. So saying this I feel the mom knew but was afraid of him in so many ways. It is easy to put on a happy face if you want to hide things...I knw I did for many, many years. Prayers go out to those who are living in a place they fear another loved one they should be able to trust. Tim Tebow you are wondeful!

Yes the father was a beast, the mother must know it..but what about us? We, the viewers? Didn't we laugh when they perform and dance? Didn't we found it so cute?? What is cute about to see little children without a youth? Children who are months on the road in a bus? Children that must perform on the stage?? Nobody said that it isn't normal the way they grow up! Just now we watch little people on television, sixlets, triplets what ever, because they are so cute!! I totally understand this...my dad severely abused me in every way since I've been 3yrs old...I was named after his first love and went through multiple surgeries throughout my life because of the abuse and I've never been able to have a child because my insides were so destroyed. Didn’t the mother suspect anything?? Or did she think Jesus forgives and extends “grace” so she had to as well. Extending grace doesn’t mean overlooking a crime or sin. I’m just saying how could she not suspect something when he sexually abused his girls?? Sad!

One of the things an abuser does is isolate the victim from friends and family. One flag for me was homeschooling the kids. Mom and all the kids were isolated from peers-the family appears to have been the community for them. Not only that he may have used their faith to gaslight them - obey your parents, the father is the head of the household.

This got me crying so hard. Those poor girls... and the boys, feeling like they blame themselves for not knowing and not being able to protect their sisters 😭😭.... oh my mommy heart bleed for them

The fact that they were so sheltered in their formative years, socially and through their limited education, totally disabled then from speaking up sooner. God knows how many of these sheltered religious type families have horrifying secrets among them (I mean what are the chances of both sheltered christian television families from TLC, this family AND the Duggars, experienced abuse??, Also just look into IBLP, Bill Gothard, & Quiverfull)
