@@Americas_91 oooh, good luck! I started out on the 360. My best advice is to take your time and use weapons to your advantage. Frogs and poison bubbles are great tools for making things easier.

@redy0sh1that boost is a technique usually used by speedrunners. You have to jump and then use your weapon on the very next frame. Good luck!

Yes, It is! In order for this to work, you need to first align yourself flush with the wall. After this, jump and then shoot your weapon on the very next frame. If you get knocked back and fall down, your inputs weren't close enough together. If you don't shoot a weapon at all, it means you pressed both buttons on the same frame. Good luck! ^^

@@mudspud Oh geez… 20 odd minutes for ten impossible levels sounds really difficult. I’m lucky to finish a run. How long did it take you to achieve your time?

@gameguysd it was like my third attempt of the run or something, it's not optimised at all

The reason this works is that using a secret exit gives you a completion stamp for the main level. The secrets aren’t required, so you can just exit them right away and move on to the next scene.

@@gameguysd ohhh but dont u have to beat the level though? or does it automatically count as completed once you enter the secret

@@SilverSnakeMemes It automatically counts as completed! If you look underneath doors while I’m standing in front of them, they’ll read “A++” because I’m playing on a completed file where everything has been cleared already. If this wasn’t the case, exiting via secret exit would give the main level a rating of “C”, which is the minimum rating required to clear a level.

@@icefire4814I ended up getting very busy IRL. Started a new job, had some other things on the go. I’ve gotten back into it a little bit lately. I still do have some goals I’d like to go after.

Weapons are stored in your steam inventory, which would be an absolute pain to empty/unlock and would introduce a rather nasty RNG factor on top of an already intermediate level of randomness. Same thing with console - there’s no way to do this from within the game. You’d have to wipe your save data externally by mucking about with your files. There is a weaponless category, however.

Crimson is the hardest level imo (apart from chipset v2 obviously)

At the time of this run, I was using a Ducky Shiny 6 w/ mx cherry reds. Stellar keyboard, lasted me 5+ years.

Also what is that knockback weapon you used to skip some psrt

@@jayray4296 that’s the force ball. You can use it in corners for a boost, and on walls if you jump the frame before using it.

By playing on the steam PC version! It’s slightly updated from the original Xbox 360 release. You can set two weapons in the pause menu. If you navigate to chapter 7 in this video, you’ll see my change weapons a few times if you want to see what it looks like. Those green arrows circling above my head indicate that I’m switching between my two weapons of choice.

Yes! When you spawn into a level, you have around a second before the game allows you to get hurt. You can see the same thing happening at 16:40.
