We played this in my high school orchestra many years ago and I’ve loved it ever since, especially the melancholy oboe part in the first section. I wish it was more well known so that professional orchestras would play (and record) it. I hope this video stays up in perpetuity because it’s the only recording I’ve ever found.

We've lived here for the last 8 years and love it...only Terry Sawyer...a local builder...could have hand built a house like this one...it's truly one of a kind and captivates everyone who visits. He's added a wine cellar, bedroom loft, firepit and parking shed since we bought it. Thank you for posting this spirited and delightful performance. I enjoyed playing 1st trumpet for this piece in 1969 with the Pine Bluff, Arkansas High School Symphonic Band. It brought back great memories.

I remember watching them practice with my sister's boyfriend's little sister and we were cracking up because we were watching Hannah and Brad and Brad looked so serious. And a girl fell. And Taylor gave me the stink eye. I'm really popular in the marching band even though I'm not in it.
