I love my field piece vp67 vacuum pump 20 mins or less and I am at 300 or less microns I also have the hurcules vacuum pump it’s brushless and runs for a hour on a 5 amp battery it also pulls down to 300 microns in about 20 mins. I always check my gaskets and less connections = faster vacuum

These are powerful got wraped up twice today almost lost some fingers. Lost a sh irt because it got caught in a kink. My first time useing the machine. Final try it ruin my cable nasty kink in it. Just bought today. Fucked up the cable almost lost a few fingers. I think ibwill get the 1/2 cable size

The gurgling sound indicates a leak somewhere. Probably loose hose, bad gasket, or leaking lineset. Also ditch the guages and pull vacuum directly from suction port and get a micron gauge to put on your liquid port.

Get a micron gauge not a manifold, and a core remover tool that you can pull a vacuum through, I bet it’ll pull down fine

those 12Ah has a lot bad cells what year is that ? They use Samsung 40T which bad version 1 the latest they use Samsung 40T version 3 which so far so good

It might be those Fieldpiece gauges the my commander built-in sucks I always have to have a secondary micron gauge

You’re pulling through a manifold, using used 1/4” charging hose, without using a micron gauge, relying on “Hg……. Fun little experiment: what’s the difference between 29.8”Hg vs 29.9”Hg? Then let’s compare that to what 30”Hg is in microns…….

You need a higher CFM pump with that long of a line set, it would work with the 5 CFM pump, but take a long time but clearly there a leak and number 2 the gurgling sound means there a leak, reason most don’t pull using a manifold gauge as you could have leaks at seals?
