The first-year seminarians of the CMI St. Joseph Province, Kottayam, have undertaken a significant initiative known as the Sons of God (Bənē Ĕlōhīm). The logo signifies the flourishing of the Sons of GOD on Mount Carmel, where they draw providence and spiritual growth from the Most Holy Trinity, symbolized by three radiant stars. The burning torch represents their fervent zeal for the Lord, the God of Hosts, a legacy passed down through the prophet Elijah. The inclusion of the scriptural verse from 1 King 19:10, written in East Syriac, highlights their connection to the unique Carmelite congregation within the Syrian rite, the Carmelites of Mary Immaculate. The open book depicted in the logo symbolizes the 'Gospel', emphasizing that their mission and work are firmly rooted in the Word of God. Finally, the blossomed lily represents the Virgin Mary, who bloomed with grace and sanctity in the valleys of Mount Carmel, serving as a source of inspiration and guidance for this initiative.
