Yume Koujou: Doki Doki Panic - Anti-Piracy Screen
Yume Koujou: Doki Doki Panic is a Japan-only video game released for the Famicom Disk System in 1987. The game was developed by Nintendo and published by Fuji Television in collaboration with Nintendo to promote the Yume Koujou '87 event. It is best known for being the basis for the international Super Mario Bros. 2 (known in Japan as Super Mario USA).
The game features an anti-piracy measure where if it detects that its a copied disk rather than an original than past the title screen you will be stuck on a message telling the player to use the official Disk Writer kiosk. You can read more about how the anti-piracy measure works on TCRF. tcrf.net/Yume_Koujou:_Doki_Doki_Panic

Osomatsu-kun Hachamecha Gekijou (おそ松くん はちゃめちゃ劇場) / 1988 Mega Drive Gameplay
Просмотров 584 месяца назад
Osomatsu-kun Hachamecha Gekijou is a game developed by Sega and released for the Mega Drive on December 24, 1988 in Japan. It was the fourth game to be released for the console. It's also considered to be one of the worst Mega Drive games being panned on release and is remembered as an awful game. I decided to upload my casual playthrough of the whole thing to demonstrate how short this game is...

Recorded on the Analogue Pocket with an original Play-Yan Micro cartridge. The Play-Yan Micro (released outside of Japan as the Nintendo MP3 Player) is an updated version of the original Play-Yan, which allows playing back audio and video from an SD card. If you're interested in learning more about this device check out the video by @Akfamilyhome. ruclips.net/video/75zeuauUq38/видео.html The vi...

Hidemushi's Programmer Rant (Erika to Satoru no Yume Bouken)
Просмотров 998Год назад
In 1988, Erika to Satoru no Yume Bouken released for the Famicom, an adventure game where you control 2 characters while helping out the various animal citizens. In 2022, an English translation was released which is how I played through this game and while I enjoyed playing through from start to finish, the real goal was getting to witness the hidden programmer rant on real hardware. Here's how...

In 2018, Retro-Bit released a handheld system running on NOAC (Nintendo On A Chip) hardware that featured various licensed Famicom and NES games. Tetris is one of the featured games, however this version of Tetris was made from the ground up specifically for this handheld likely so that it follows the Tetris Guideline although it could be as simple as not wanting to use the existing Famicom and...

Bound High! [Adventure of Chalvo] Speedrun in 22:34.347
Okay, this video is nearing five years old, but I need to ask if anyone knows - what exactly did the creator do to the GBA Brinstar soundtrack to make it sound that good? I have never heard it like that anywhere outside of this ROMhack, and it kills me to know I may never find out what he did.
You can save 21 second at 1:43 by Pressing L+A to reverse gravity (Easter Egg), and fall back up. This causes the game to skip to the falling animation that normally occurs at the bottom of that pit since it is supposed to execute on the death barrier. By reversing gravity with the button combo, you place the death barrier at the top of the screen instead of the bottom. Beware, using the combo elsewhere may have some odd effects.

OMG finally it took me so long to find Don Chan's voice in English tysm
Audience: Watermelon! Don Chan: ACHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
The thumbnail went bankrupt!
i played this in a tent in Walmart parking lot in 94 with the pressure on man!!
My daughter got me this handheld for xmas a few years back. I've worn out 2 of them already and am on my 3rd one. There's a few other cool games on it, the pinball game (which they call "hoodle" for some odd reason) and the pool game is cool. The Tetris is the King on this one, IMO. It reminds me of the version that was on the original gameboy. I start on level one with handicap on level 12, the toughest one. My highest score that way so far is 165,782...no clue if that's good or what, but I can't beat that score so far. I play at least 50 games of Tetris on this a day, love it. I'm glad to see others have found this handheld. It's great, and only $20‐$25 on Amazon.
шизофренический ROM Hack
Oddly enough, the FF5 under water music sounds better in this game than in the original. 😂
the true ending's final scene of Sponge finally finding some kind of rest, sleeping on top of a tall vargshroom on a clear night with Steppin' out in the background... truly peaceful

Hell yeah, this is awesome. I ordered an SD2SNES cart today. What did you do to get this on the cart? Like what files from their demo download did you need to put on the SD card. Thanks!
check the description for the download
Even if you don't have every références this rom was awesome
This is so cool
The fact that this song is coming out of an SNES is honestly insane. Also great job on the speedrun!
That’s a Cool homebrew!
incredible that this got translated too xD wonder the rambler programmer still working in the industry ahhahaha
someone did it at .80
There really needs to be a dump of this, particularly the hard drop version for use on anything better then this not very good handheld.
apparently from what I've heard the reason this has yet to be dumped is that these handhelds that contain the game are still being sold so it's really a waiting game for this to become abandonware for folks to be comfortable with publicly releasing it in the wild
@@Bro3256 hopefully that’s the case because the hardware it’s on is the biggest hindrance to playing it with poor button construction causing miss input so bad that they ended up having to remove the hard drop feature.

Congratulations, this was really good, I liked it 😊👍
Fun fact: if you set the video to 144p it looks like the original
5:41 look at the top left. Why did it just vanish like that?
hello bro films.
Not for Game Boy Player.
Play-yan can play video files?
Yikes, this version of Mickey would just abuse animals lol
Is this gonna be the new bad apple or what(ngl it would be a nice change)
is steamboat willie gonna be the next bad apple lol
What's next, Steamboat Willie as a Sega CD FMV?
Well? It’s not like anyone’s gonna sue us.
"hOpE yA dOn'T fEeL hUrT bIg BoY!"
Looks better than SpongeBob volume 1-4 on gba
Will this be the next Bad Apple? I really wanna see this on the original Nintendo GameBoy .
Or on some other weird devices like a credit card reader or a pregnancy test or on a Tomra T600 RVM.
It's possible on a Nintendo GameBoy, but I don't remember the name of the game that plays MP4 files
you can also use avi-2-gba
I'm fully aware of the tools existence, and one benefit it brings is generating a compiled rom file that can be shared around which isn't possible on the Play-Yan Micro since the software is simply a video player but you get better results running videos on the Play-Yan Micro than you do using said converter tool so its a trade-off
