Filson fabrics are not waterproof mate, including their waxed stuff. You go and stand in the rain for no more then 3 minutes, I’m not even talking heavy rain, and you’ll see how waterproof it is not 😂 but no seriously don’t make a mistake of thinking it’s waterproof as it really isn’t and it takes a long time to dry out. Looks very cool and the general aesthetic is fantastic, I love my Filson garments but they’re extremely limited in their performance (weight, waterproofing, breathability, etc.) if that’s what you’re after. As for your best you can take your little droplet tube and drop 5 drops on any fabric including denim and it will initially pool up as in the video then soak in if left alone. That was a piss poor test bud.
