Design following components of single cylinder, two stroke and water- cooled Petrol Engine to develop 40 KW at a speed of 1000 rpm by making suitable assumption and neat sketches. Assume Compression Ratio as 7. a. Determine the design pressure considering explosion ratio 3.25 and FOS as 1.3. b. Determine the standard bore and length of cylinder. c. 42:14 Sir, T3 to tail pulley ka tension hai na ? to formula bhi tail pulley ka ayega na ? T3= T1-Wu.....please reply ! aage bhi tail pulley shaft ke design mai apne yahi value use kiya isliye thoda confusion hai
Head pulley and tail pulley have similar dimensions, for the easy of manufacturing.

Can i use those rules and assume that the right angle (90 degree )
According to slide number 21, (Inclination of conveyor with ground) < (angle of repose for the given material) So it cannot be used for 90 degree inclination

hi there nice explanation Mr johnson, a question though should we not change the speed that was given on the table psg 9.20? and calculate the new speed base on the capacity ? Bim 800mm and Q=250TPH speed 1.52m/s Regards
Hi, the belt width (Bmin) is calculated based on capacity Q=250TPH. And speed is calculate d based on final belt width (Bmin = 800) also standard on PSG 9.20. check slide 27.1
