Basket of Hope is a 501c3 non-profit organization. Basket of Hope's mission is to give hope to children diagnosed with cancer or other serious illness through the delivery of a Basket of Hope filled with toys, games, craft items, stuffed animals, gift cards, and other items. Hope Totes are optional for the parents and contain gifts to nourish them physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Super Bowl Winning head coach, Tony Dungy, is Basket of Hope's National Spokesperson and delivers baskets & hope totes to hospitalized children across the country, along with other professional athletes, celebrities and other caring volunteers. 2023 NASCAR CHAMPIONSHIP CUP RACE BASKET FILLING EVENT AND HOSPITAL DELIVERY
Over 150 NASCAR fan volunteers along with the Top 4 Championship Nascar Cup Finalist Drivers: Kyle Larson, William Byron, Ryan Blaney and Christopher Bell, gathered at the Phoenix Raceway before the 2023 Nascar Championship Cup Race to fill over 600 Basket of Hope gifts valued at over $120,000 for families with seriously ill children at Phoenix Children's Hospital. The gifts were personally delivered by NASCAR Drivers: Bradley Ericson, Dean Thompson and William Sawalich. The gifts were well received and we are so grateful for the volunteers and sponsors who helped make it possible.
