    Thkx for the detailed video; I had the same issue for a few weeks; the error code reported a faulty FCM (Fan Control Module) which meant replacing the entire unit with both fans and was upwards for $1400.00….I keep driving for a few more weeks and then spent 1/2 day t/shooting the issue; when I got to the connectors (u have to remove the undermount protection), i took a carefful look at the cables and found a single cable that was almost broken….i fixed that and issue got resolved. Maybe lucky me but I wonder how many people have had a similar issue. I would suggest before u do anything, check the connectors and make sure u don’t have a broken cable. All the best.

    Yours is a chipper with the chipping blades on a drum which feeds the brush material through one pass and then out. It leaves a lot of the material only shredded and not finely reduced. I would be very dissatisfied as well with what materials you ended up with. What you want is a hammer mill type shredder chipper. It has its chipping blade on a heavy flywheel where you feed the bigger limbs, say 2 1/2 to 3” through the side chute. The smaller brush goes into the hopper at the top and then the hammer mill flails shred it up. There is a curved metal piece with 1” or 3/4” holes that keeps all the material back, including also the material that the chipper section chipped up. All this keeps going around getting shredded finer until it is small enough to fall through the holes. I used a shredder chipper that was built like the description and it was a MacKissic Mighty Mac 12PT. With it I cleared up all the brush and limbs from about 80 trees, mostly white oak and some firs. It was a lot of work but I was impressed with how small the pieces were that it all reduced down to.

      The gage cluster is part of a complete immobilizer/ignition setup including gas cap, ignition barrel, and seat lock barrel, the parts are not exchangeable. You either swap the whole thing out or put the old gage cluster back on and screw the data.

    The back old pads look great. I’d have just kept the old ones on and replace them later down the road. Unless you slam on the breaks. They should last a few years more. My 16 Camry Hybrid has small pads upfront and larger in the rear. So rears can last a long time. I have had my car for over 3 years and haven’t replaced any pads yet. Probably going to do another inspection this spring and do a replacement. 70k in mileage and still going strong. 💪

  • @chii2054
    @chii2054 11 месяцев назад

    Just to mention, the not-charging is a safety feature. Li-ion batteries that are (self-)discharged beyond a certain threshold destroy their internal structure. If you do something like this, your battery may start burning. It may also start burning some time later, e.g. if you leave it in the charger overnight. Please be aware that tampering with Li-ion batteries may get your house burning (and yourself injured or killed).

    Thank you for this video. I was just thinking about replacing the shift knob in my A6 C6 (4F5). After all, there are many suppliers. It was always unclear how labor intensive and complicated the replacement would be. Either just the knob without leather and frame. Then I would have to rebuild that, which is quite a fiddling. Or these China knobs with leather and frame. Where the leather and its processing unfortunately does not make such a particularly high-quality impression. But good, now I know at least that the installation is relatively uncomplicated feasible. Thanks again!
