Hi, I couldn't get my 1/2 in drive, M14 triple square to fit between the frame for the rear-lower caliper bracket bolt. Any tips?
sorry, 2013 Beetle
Sister xiaoqiao is a friend who knows cars. 😊
Can you please provide a link for the tool you use to lock the cam shaft?
Where did you purchase your parts, I got some aftermarket parts that don't fit and I went to the dealership and still won't fit. I've spent over $400
those back three scared me after seeing this video but if you take your time and use a bunch of differeent extentions for your swivel socket wrench it it's do able just don't rush. Thanks for this and subbed
They work better than any other trap I've ever tried.
Thkx for the detailed video; I had the same issue for a few weeks; the error code reported a faulty FCM (Fan Control Module) which meant replacing the entire unit with both fans and was upwards for $1400.00….I keep driving for a few more weeks and then spent 1/2 day t/shooting the issue; when I got to the connectors (u have to remove the undermount protection), i took a carefful look at the cables and found a single cable that was almost broken….i fixed that and issue got resolved. Maybe lucky me but I wonder how many people have had a similar issue. I would suggest before u do anything, check the connectors and make sure u don’t have a broken cable. All the best.
Love the video. Simple and to the point. 👍🏽
What brand and were from?
Yours is a chipper with the chipping blades on a drum which feeds the brush material through one pass and then out. It leaves a lot of the material only shredded and not finely reduced. I would be very dissatisfied as well with what materials you ended up with. What you want is a hammer mill type shredder chipper. It has its chipping blade on a heavy flywheel where you feed the bigger limbs, say 2 1/2 to 3” through the side chute. The smaller brush goes into the hopper at the top and then the hammer mill flails shred it up. There is a curved metal piece with 1” or 3/4” holes that keeps all the material back, including also the material that the chipper section chipped up. All this keeps going around getting shredded finer until it is small enough to fall through the holes. I used a shredder chipper that was built like the description and it was a MacKissic Mighty Mac 12PT. With it I cleared up all the brush and limbs from about 80 trees, mostly white oak and some firs. It was a lot of work but I was impressed with how small the pieces were that it all reduced down to.
muy buen video, llevamos años con este problema
Awesome, I like short and direct video !

The gage cluster is part of a complete immobilizer/ignition setup including gas cap, ignition barrel, and seat lock barrel, the parts are not exchangeable. You either swap the whole thing out or put the old gage cluster back on and screw the data.
Stupid, he didn't show how to unclip the coil....the back is crazy..thank for nothing Honda.
Then you have no business being under the hood if you cant figure out how to unclip a plug. Close the hood and take it to the dealer and pay the $485 for a spark plug change.
@@duaneafieldsI struggled unclipping the stupid coil. Took me over an hour to change it from pure struggle. Horrible design. My civic took 10 mins only
@@duaneafields dealer quoted 1k on this lol
My dealer quoted $799 😬
Curios, but why was the timing belt changed?
It was either time/mileage due or upcharge on the repairs, either way better to do it then not do it..
Diagnosis, it takes some skill. Sorely lacking in 'repair' shops that prefer to play parts replacement bingo
The spark plugs on those cars are rough to change. The optispark distributor is also a "fun" job. I have good memories of driving one back in the day.
My friends mom had one just like this years back his older brother used to sneak it to the drag strip until the mother found out lol
Good luck 👍🇺🇸
What mileage do you recommend changing plugs on 2016?
They recommend every 100k.
I’m changing mine at 60k…
L I K E 👍👍👍👍👍💯💥💯💥💯🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
How did you take the wire harness clamps off? It seems like I’m going to break them I have to pull so hard
its 2024 and we still recording vertical
The back old pads look great. I’d have just kept the old ones on and replace them later down the road. Unless you slam on the breaks. They should last a few years more. My 16 Camry Hybrid has small pads upfront and larger in the rear. So rears can last a long time. I have had my car for over 3 years and haven’t replaced any pads yet. Probably going to do another inspection this spring and do a replacement. 70k in mileage and still going strong. 💪
You skipped the part killing me most, removing the coil wiring. I’m pressing and squeezing the “push” but can’t get it to release.
I discovered that Harbor Freight sells hose grip pliers that are perfect for squeezing the wire connector to release the plug from the coil. They are called 8 in. hose grip pliers made by Icon. They work like a charm.
I’m having so much trouble with the 3 that are easy to get to that there’s no way I’ll get the back 3 unplugged.
I know same here I’m stuck just getting the boots off and he skipped that critical part lol

How much would a job like this cost?
My shop, which is always reasonable, quoted about $500.
It did what it was designed to do. It made big pieces smaller. For those that are trying to just make less trips to the brush dump this is a fantastic machine
Did you have the misfire at idle only, any misfire codes
If that doesn’t help. This could be the issue engine temperature sensor As well it happend to me now is perfectly fine
mine says coolant temperature sensor… and it can’t tread the coolant temp right while the fans constantly blare.. been driving great and running a bit cooler, oil level is still good and no leaks. just the strangest thing. replaced waterpump thermostat belts alternator and crank pulley in august.. and no waterpump leak was the strangest thing to me. which sensor was it and where is it located to replace
twll me or show me how to unplug these connectors - radiator fan connectors - i got similar in a8 4.2 and i can not unplug them...... making me crazy which place to pry?
Where you located bro got this code anytime i accelerate 2012 audi q5
Did u figure it out
No still drives but if i accelerate hard it comes on right away
Something I have a glock in?
Bring your litiums back to live by loading them with another for 3 seconds.. Then see...
It's not very clear - where does the "sense wire" from the charger go to? Does it go to the positive or negative side of the battery? Thank you.
Just to mention, the not-charging is a safety feature. Li-ion batteries that are (self-)discharged beyond a certain threshold destroy their internal structure. If you do something like this, your battery may start burning. It may also start burning some time later, e.g. if you leave it in the charger overnight. Please be aware that tampering with Li-ion batteries may get your house burning (and yourself injured or killed).
Yeah, cause that gets all the contaminates and crap from the bottom of the sump.
Thank you for this video. I was just thinking about replacing the shift knob in my A6 C6 (4F5). After all, there are many suppliers. It was always unclear how labor intensive and complicated the replacement would be. Either just the knob without leather and frame. Then I would have to rebuild that, which is quite a fiddling. Or these China knobs with leather and frame. Where the leather and its processing unfortunately does not make such a particularly high-quality impression. But good, now I know at least that the installation is relatively uncomplicated feasible. Thanks again!
Im thinking the same. do you know a good place where to order them? maybe a link?
Hi there can you share some information about your car you're making model I can definitely get you a link
