I am trying to create simple tech videos as I am no expert but am trying to help people like me who search you tube for advice and hints.
How to wire up RJ45 plugs the easy way using push through connectors and crimping tools.
I recently bought a new TV which required me to create a longer patch cable for the Sky box due to the position I put them in. I thought I would make a video to show how to do it using cheap tools.
In this video I make a new cable using push through RJ45 connector plugs and show you how to make them and test them.

Re building my garden decking

I have been busy lately building a new decking in my back garden. Its taken about a month to do it as I have been transporting the wood in a ford fiesta to save on delivery fees to keep the budget down. Every bit of the build has been done by me on my own as well so that has taken my time as well. hope you enjoy the video and leave any comments below.

I bought this dock off eBay for £15 with postage and it was described as faulty due to the sound not working properly. It was described as not reaching the high volume and a hissing noise coming from the device. I decided to buy it and to try and fix it.

This is an iPod classic bought off eBay and described as faulty with a hardware issue. On inspection and test it was found to have a faulty hard drive and the hold switch was broken. I repaired the device and then upgraded it to a micro SD card of 64GB and customised the device with a red front and brand new metal back case. this video is showing me doing this and the eventual modified iPod.

I decided to go back to my youth and build an airfix model aircraft. I chose a beginners kit of a Hawker Hurricane MK1 which is 1/72 scale and all the glue brushes and paints are provided. Bike ride around Haigh Hall wigan

Just a quick bike tour of Haigh Hall in Wigan. This is a local country park where there are a few minor attractions. It is very popular with the locals and there are facilities such as a small fun fair, cafe, woodland trails, crazy golf, 18 hole golf course and others. I am using my carerra vengeance e bike, iPhone 14 and a Vemont 1080 action camera.

I had fitted new brake pads the previous day so thought I would take my Carrera Vengeance E Bike out for a spin to see if I had done a good job or not. I put an adapter in my 5th Gen iPod with 4x128Gb micro SD cards, so I have around 500Gb in storage now, rather than the 60Gb hard drive it shipped with.

it is a new battery from eBay so it should last a while. I haven't tested the time it lasts as the one I use is usually plugged into my car but I have the same battery
That video in 1987 was taken 3 weeks before I moved away from Wigan. When I think back to 1987 I imagine things looking almost as modern as today but I was shocked at how old things like the cars looked. Looked much earlier than 1987 but clearly wasn't.

On higfeld Grange avenue hope school was not there in 1987
it was marus bridge middle school but slightly different building.
