Her eyes are not too pretty. That winking eyelid deteriorated on all these dolls. I see the European version had painted lids and was gorgeous

I used Styrofoam as a filler for container so I didn't waste filling up whole ring/cup. I then put air-dry clay on tip, used a toothbrush to rough it up. Then used acrylic paint and when dry I put glossy mod podge on top to make it look were like real salsa

My grandfather made this jewelry box. He made one for my mom, one for my ex sister in law

I have a few of western barbie. Eye lids are all messed up. I'm trying to restore them. There was a European version that just had painted eyes without winking mechanism and she's gorgeous. I never looked at price though

I had that doll when i was younger. I ended up giving that doll to younger female cousin. I recently got 2 1980s maxie dolls. And a beach blast skipper doll. Both in good condition. Hair is long and thick on both dolls.

I saw it...and had to grab it.

I never knew this existed. I went to a garage sale, saw it for $1200.00 & it wasn't in great shape, and furniture was in a box or in house but it wasn't all original furniture. Then I kept seeing it on ebay, mercari etc. 2000k, 2400k...I was like NO WAY. Then I saw an fb marketplace selling it gor $125.00...all the original furniture, like brand new and booklets...it was over an hour away so I jumped on it just bc for $125.00....I had to. So now I have it, it's huge and gorgeous

I know...I never had her as a kid in the 80s. I honestly didn't know she existed until this year when I saw her in a book and just had to get her. Gorgeous

I know right. In the fb marketplace pic I didn't see all if this. I took a chance for 10 dollars and got AMAZING real BARBIE clothes, dolls, and accessories. So cool
