I just bought the book and now I got more excited to read it after your review. I want to add that ur way of reviewing a book is excellent. However, I would suggest you talk more about the author and share quotes from the book. Cause I believe it would intrigue people to read it! Quality vs quantity. I am a slow reader and have always thought of forcing myself to buy many books to finish them fast rather than accumulate them. But that I didn't do cause I found that I read the books slowly out of the need to focus on everything in the book and to have a profound, exciting reading journey. I have also noticed that many readers try to read as much as possible, and they made me think of reading from another perspective, that it doesn't matter how many books you read. It is about how deeply they resonate with u. So, I guess we're on the same page! 🤎

Mine is when all the books in a series are 900 pages each and then there is that ONE book halfway through the series that is 200 pages. Like what? Where did this skinny thing come from!?

the fact that the book is called “the way i used to be” and the cover won’t go back to the way it used to be😮

When my paperback is like a brick and I can barely open it without damaging the spine so I have to read the book through a crack😭😭

about the bent cover, what i do is just flip it upside down and place some heavy hardbacks on top and leave it for a few days. flats them out perfectly. hope this helps <3

I detest the size variation in series , I’ve had to relocate one of my favorites because book 3 is 2” taller . Don’t understand why they chose to enlarge just that one.

For some reason, idk if this is really a “bookish” thing, but like- I normally fucking HATE first person POV books. Like- that was one problem I had with the Throne of Glass Series- I just- akafakaehsjab I hate it. (It’s Not all first person POV books, I’ve liked a few like The Cruel Prince or The War That Saved My Life, but like 80% of the time- no. I don’t like it.)

Also when the page corner folds amd it leaves creases on the book pages its really annoying!
