The Blues progression. The 1, 4 1 5 progression played for 12 bars and repeated as many times for people to sing and solo is known as the blues progression. it can be played with major chords but sounds more bluesy with dominant 7 chords. We shall use major chords for now and later when we're much better players, we shall use 7th chords. let's learn the form and enjoy the lesson.

Hello my friend. Thank you for appreciating. I think let's take it one step at a time. We shall be introducing black notes one at a time because some keys have purely white notes like the key of C while others like G, D, A , F, Bb and other keys have one or more black keys. Once we take it slow, the confusion will soon diminish.

Which book are you reading from
Ha no that's just a classical music book if you want to learn to play classical. But that's not what I'm teaching at the moment. We're still learning the basics.
