The problem with modern romance is we've turned it into an all encompassing thing where the romantic partner is supposed to be everything to you. A best friend, a sex partner, a domestic supporter, a therapist, a provider. All wrapped into one. This is unique in human history. We used to value friends and other relationships beyond the nuclear family. We need to get back to that because it's pretty clear that putting all of that on one person isn't sustainable. And worse, if ylu neglect your friendships every time you're in a relationship you'll gradually lose them. And romantic relationships break down A LOT. If you date someone at 22 it's highly unlikely you'll get married and have kids and die together at 90. That's just how it works. So people need to honestly treasure their friends more. Friends are much more likely to go the distance.

Comment: Finishing your college degree is very important along with having some community service under your belt so you can put that in a future resume. Your degree is very important, but you also need to fill it up with volunteering activities in where people (future Managers) will see that you are a team player. There is nothing wrong if you work at McDonalds for a while along with doing some Janitor work (in terms of volunteering). I think you live in England, why don't you work for some time for Ludlow Book binding (doing volunteer work). It's all great experience! I wish you guys the best. You have to learn some soft skills such as interacting with people of all ages, and classes. Stay in your city and get to know your city in where you pay your taxes, opening up a bank account, etc. England is just too beautiful, why leave to somewhere else in terms of vacationing?! Community service such as working at a food bank/food pantry can help you out during these times. Don't let the thought of not having love affect your life. You have friends, and family along with a dog I assume. You may also want to do some speed dating just so you can know what type of guy you want in the future. Speed dating won't lead to marriage now, but it's good experience. This may sound distant but maybe you need to attend a Matthew Hussey lecture on dating. I think you ladies need to marry for substance in where the man has a great heart and someone who understands your mind. True Fact: Great Chemistry is a great deodorant. People that have Great chemistry will have a life full of boyfriends and girlfriends (depending on your Gender). Love is very tough for the person who does not have any chemistry with the opposite s@x. You can have a nice home, have a great bank account at the bank, be popular at school, perform community service for the food bank, you do work as a bell snuffer at your local Catholic church, but if you as a person does not have magnetic chemistry when it comes to attracting the men or women that you want in life (when it comes to Romantic Love), then your love life will be a little bit boring. What happens if this happens to me? Take up community service, attend Church mass; Catholic mass, and also focus on finishing your college degree so you can get a job once you graduate. You need to be occupied in life right now, so you don't get down about being single at a certain age. We all want love in our lives, but at times it gets very complicated, so one needs a backup plan in case if he or she does not arrive tomorrow, or in 5 years, or the person does not arrive at all. This may sound a little bit distant to you guys but pray to God when at church when it comes to Him (God) bringing you a caring loving boyfriend, husband into your life. I'm 24 as well and really wish I could be in a relationship. I'm also in the situation where no one I like likes me back. I'd settle for anyone I'm even remotely attracted to. i have just recently had surgery on both of my feet last week Friday, and there has to be wires to straighten out my toes. now i have to wear boots and crutches on my feel for the next 6 weeks. But i am so happy that i get to take off my bandages not next week the week after, hence why i can't even go to the UDB clubs anymore until September. But hopefully, i will be on my feet before Limitless Festival which i am really excited about. So overall this podcast makes me feel a lot better and a lot happier and comfortable. It's important to bear in mind context. It seems you're very influenced by western media. You're only talking about 'beauty standards' in the UK and other areas where there are Europeans. But only 10% of the world population are European (or 'white' as you say). 60% of the world population are from Asian countries, 20% are from African countries and the remaining 20% are from European, North & South American and Oceanic countries combined. So beauty standards are dependent on where you are and who the people are there. Only 2% of the world's people are blonde haired, so this is rare. It's not the beauty standard in most places.

I’m 24 and never been in a relationship. I don’t go to clubs or bars, I don’t do hook up culture. I go to the gym, play basketball with my friends, I like skateboarding and hanging out with my friends. But I’m still ignored by woman. I’ve realized if u ain’t a bad boy or fit the bad boy stereotype be expected to be ignored completely by woman. If you’re an old soul, be expected to be ignored by woman. They want excitement, and if u can’t do that for them, they don’t want u. Woman choose to be single, men can’t.
