Not really working for me, I must say. Dotted rhythm under straight eights. Just feels awkward and stilted. IMO. Your mileage may vary..

This composition started with D DORIAN MODE. The 26 English ALPHABETS were then lined up with each of the 8 notes on the Dorian scale. Next I wrote the words THANK YOU, MY FRIEND’S NAME, ANGEL & SEE YOU. After that notes were picked according to which alphabet I got from the words above. Finally experimented with notes. I wrote this as a violin duet with pizzicato opening. I’m curious how other musicians improvise to this backtrack made on the app iRealpro. By the way the pitched percussion you heard was Vibraphone.

It’s a Hohner melodica with the range of 3 octaves. You blow into a pipe while playing on the keys to make sounds. So it combines the fun of piano and flute😻
