Who's the camera man?
Group effort haha we don’t have a dedicated camera person
@@BorealHuntsman You probably need two cameras for that animal; nice hunt.
Congratulations
Thanks for bringing us along. Gold medal
Glad you enjoyed it 🤙🏼
when youre skinning down the legs, is your finished cut coming to the pad side like you do for a rug? or is it coming to the opposite side of the pad?
To the pad, the key is to make your cut where the stitches will be least visible when mounted.
@@BorealHuntsman ok that makes sense, thank you!
Where in the Rockies of Alberta were you. I lived in Alberta in the 1970's, and wandered the Rockies extensively. Used to do weeks and weeks of camping and hiking. Never did do any hunting, but the experience of just being there was amazing.
I guess you can say central part of the Alberta rockies. Being out there is definitely a highlight of every year and looking forward to the next time.
❤❤❤ فاصله چند متری تا هدف بود ؟
200m roughly
@@BorealHuntsman تیغ تان برا باشه مثل همیشه
Great Job Dude luv the Vid. Congrats hopefully some day I can do that to
Appreciate the comment, cheers.
Well done! I've been putting in for a sheep tag in Washington state for 22 years. Maybe next year...
Thank you. Is Washington on a lottery or priority system? Thats an awful long time to wait.
Very Cool!
Boom 💥 ya you did 🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻✊🏻✊🏻👊🏻
Well done brother!! I've never climbed a mountain so obviously I've never sheep hunted but my gosh does that look incredible!! Sucks waiting year after year but It truly does make it that much more special when it does happen like anything in life. What an adventure!! Edit....what a beautiful animal, the stone gray color is just so handsome
Wow! Bucket list experience for sure. Was the other hunter successful?
Not that I’m aware of
Unreal job you three! Congratulations to all!
Thank you 🤙🏼
Congratulations and well done. It’s not so easy getting the animals you do in the places you go, it’s easy for people to watch these RUclips videos online and see these Montana Wyoming etc hunts that big name RUclipsrs hunt and think it’s not so bad but living in Alberta you learn our access and visibility is not the same lol well done again
Oh absolutely! Every hunt has its challenges but the Alberta Rockies are definitely in a class of its own, hard terrain out there.
Excellent work to all 3 of you for capturing and documenting this exceptional journey! Hard gruelling work in the elements is not an easy task. Congrats on a great ram and excellent work editing this piece all together!
Hard hunts make for memorable stories, Appreciate the comment, Thank you. Goodluck with the rest of your season and happy thanksgiving
Congratulations that was fantastic hunt and a Trophy Ram
Happy you enjoyed watching, Thank you!
Congratulations again. So awesome, I can’t wait for my turn to seal the deal. 6 years in now.
Thanks man. You will get one, keep at it. You guys are definitely in the right place
Hard work pays off, excellent hunt!!!!!!
Thank you :) glad you enjoyed it
Congratulations, on your well earned trophy.
@@markcostello7238 Thank you, truly appreciated
Proud of you!
incredible, only word i got for this
🙌🏼 Thank you
Could you just bring the head as evidence of sex?
It would depend on the butcher and F&G officer but Alberta regulations say evidence of sex and species must stay attached so with this particular method we keep the hooves and genitals.
Congrats. You sure put the time in!!
Congrats on the ram!
What cal?
44mag
@@BorealHuntsman very nice.
... gotta luv Alberta ... you'd die of old age in NE Ontario waiting for an adult moose tag in the draw ... moose hunting is for the rich who can afford to dish out $4K for an outfitters tag ... the rest of us are used to greasy ole black bear &/or partridge & kraft dinner
You two are great! Love the real videos! Lever action to boot!
Thanks so much!
I Hunt mulies down in southeast Alberta also. Some of the biggest bucks I’ve ever seen down there if you know where to find them.
Great video. Do you ever mentor new bow hunters that are keen to do harder back country hunts like this?
Always happy to pass on some knowledge, reach out to us on instagram.
@@BorealHuntsman Will do, thanks!
Lets GOOOOO!! 🦾
👎👎👎
🤙🏼🤙🏼🤙🏼
great vid! are you guys just camping out on crown?
We camp on crown, our hunts are a mix of private and crown
Du lockst die Bären an um sie zu töten? 😢
😂
What pack you have
In this particular video we were using a Kuiu Divide 1500. Great little day pack
looks like you got a lady a rifle upgrade. What calibre?
On this hunt it was a 30-06
... lots of tracking ... that's why the 1st gun in the safe I DON'T reach for when going black bear hunting is the 243 Win
Absolutely, we retired that 243. 44mag or the bow now for bears
@@BorealHuntsman ... I use a Marlin 1895 in 45-70 pushing a 405 grain Woodleigh Weldcore SP ... when I pull my skinning knife out to field dress the animal the black bear is still in the tracks it was standing in when I pulled the trigger
PCC works perfectly. Nice shot. Wow. Where in Canada is this?
Northern Alberta
@@BorealHuntsman great footage, great area, great story line… very professional. Keep em coming. I subbed and hope to use your videos to encourage my wife and daughter to come hunting with me.
good story, nice bear and very pretty lady
What ammunition you using?
Hornady 240gr XTP
I was gonna ask what ammo you were usin̈g, it packed a punch on that bear.
Dam nice shot congrats 💪🇨🇦💪
I do more field hunting, just time & building at the homestead all takes time from the day so my big camp out is moose hunting season :) I have some video of that up !
Moose camp is always fun, good luck this season
Fantastic Intro to the Video Love your content so engaging and your lady is awesome not afraid hard stomping on earth woman. Congratulations.
Thanks so much!
That area has good bears. I got a tank near there a few years ago.
That's awesome
What a shot! What a toad! Congrats!!
Great job guys 👍👍😀😀😁😁🤩🤩
congrats .great hunt madam
You are both absolutely sick getting enjoyment out of murdering that bear. It is totally disgusting! You are both dispicable.
Dark chocolate is actually toxic and lethal to bears, the same chemical "Theobromine" is what makes chocolate toxic to dogs/coyotes/wolves also is deadly to bears if consumed in large quantities. In 2015 4 bears died at a baiting site in New Hampshire; forensic examination found the bears had consumed lethal doses of Theobromine and this lead to the banning of chocolate used in baiting in multiple states in the USA. More info can be found if google searched for "Chocolate baiting for bears". I'm not stating this to be negative or disparaging to your video, Congrats on the bear it was a beauty; only stating this as I'm a new bear hunter from NB, Canada and thru watching videos of BowhuntingRoad a guide/instructor bear hunter in the USA i came across this issue noted in one of his videos and thought it may be of value.
Very informative information, thank you. We will most definitely consider this for next season.
Congrats really enjoy watching your videos
Happy to hear, thanks for the feedback
