yesss please more, jersey shore is the best! also I'm not from jersey, I'm literally Canadian, but in reference to if ppl acc say "guido" in jersey, I don't think they do. I watched Mila tequilas video series on jersey shore, and she says "guido" is a term that Italians and Italian americas do not/did not like, but jersey shore brought it back basically.

My week was alright. Trying to establish some routines and healthy habits. A bit of a challenge but taking it one day at a time. Spent the weekend reading halloween novellas and that was a nice break from some bigger books I've been reading 📚

Thanks for the vlog, Ashley. Had a rubbish day so this was perfect for watching whilst knitting and trying to relax! I finished reading Faebound today - which is fantasy romance, not sure if you’ve read it. I found the romance aspect a bit flat but the story was definitely intriguing!

I'm not a big horror fan, but it was fun watching you read them and hearing your thoughts. I am such a scaredy cat, so I avoid the horror and creepy. I can do thrillers and mysteries, but that's it!

Haven’t finished yet but them calling Our wives under the sea horror is so weird?? I feel bad for books that are marketed poorly bc like yeah it has a horror element but it’s more like surreal lit fic

Hi Ashley! This is the first video I’ve seen of yours and oh man am I happy to have found you! When you were talking about your PMDD and the mood swings and how frustrating it is that the things you’re supposed to do (working out, taking meds etc) is not helping; 10000% relate to that. I haven’t found a creator who freely talks about things like that that I also go thru so I’m excited to be a new subscriber! True blood is so good and cringy lol I plan on reading the books this winter.

One in particular, The Hellion by Christi Caldwell. I swear I've had that one for like over two years at this point 😂 I haven't read any of these but I loved hearing your thoughts. Love seeing how your week went. Mine was a pretty good one overall. I read some good historicals, It Happened One Autumn (reread) and Lord of Scoundrels. It reminded me of what I love about the historical romance genre. I know that I love the historical romances but I don't read them as much as I would like. I agree with the comfort and just doing what you need for your mind and body. I have really leaned into that this year and just watch/read whatever I am feeling like I need at the time. I am hoping to read the Pumpkin Spice Cafe here soon! Here's hoping we all have a great week! 💛💛

Making dinner every day I feel like is the biggest scam of my adult life lol! So exhausting to plan for it every day. I just read Bombshell this summer and really loved it. I read book 3 in the other series where it talks about Caleb and Cesily but it still felt like I was missing a piece. However, I still really enjoyed it! Hope you end up loving it!

I can relate to soo much of what you said. I've been on a bit of my own health journey as I figure out how to take care of myself both mentally and physically, it's such a task and I try to give myself grace as I figure it out. 💛💛

I'm very frustrated by money and time when it comes to working out too. I also have the time, but money is a big barrier. I know exercise is sooooo good for you, but it's inaccessible at times.

Can very much relate with the work boredom and then feeling like you have unspent energy. I also recently started exercising and find it does help but the boredom whilst I’m at work makes it so hard! I wish I could be do other things whilst I was there!

Yoga with Adriene is another great yoga channel.

I don't have any social media either for the same reasons. I just use RUclips (I'm at 15 minutes into the video)- I also feel disconnected. I wish there were platforms designed for people who want to connect that don't want to commit to social media (and the psychological and sensory problems therein). I find that video essays on RUclips are like "news" for me even though I watch them rarely from a select few RUclipsrs I genuinely vibe with (the chronically online series by Nicole Rafiee being one). I wanted to say thank you for making these vlogs- you are officially my comfort RUclipsr. I have been going through your 2024 vlogs playlist and watching all of them from the beginning. Happy belated Birthday!!
