I’m the first to say Cheryl shouldn’t have assaulted that nightclub attendant and she deserved her punishment. She also deserves to be forgiven for a stupid indiscretion she carried out while hideously drunk and at a very tumultuous time in her life. She’d gone from being a nobody to a household name of a successful girl group, had experienced the high of a number one single and the low of her and the band losing a close friend. Cheryl herself has admitted in hindsight she had a bad feeling about going out clubbing that night with Nicola and almost didn’t. She can’t undo her mistake but she owned up to it and was punished for it with a fine and community service. The people who were screaming for Cheryl’s blood and saying she should’ve been kicked out of the band and drummed home to Newcastle in disgrace are very hard hearted and unforgiving individuals. Stupid and foolish behaviour. But not something worthy of STILL getting abuse and judgement 21 years later. Give the poor woman a break.

Cheryl was in The Middle where Nicola & Kimberley were on either side of her where Nadine & Sarah were on the edge so to speak. It happens alot in Groups. The "Other Table consisted of former Original Members David Ruffin & Eddie Kendricks & Dennis Edwards who "replaced" David. I'm sure that Nadine took it hardest since they were the Closest. I also wonder how they explain this to their Children and why they never "Met" Sarah.

I think that The Attendant was in a very frustrating position. Here she was in The Bathroom seeing these Women coming in and out barely looking or acknowledging her, and she must have felt pretty low.
