Wow! You’ve gotten quite a bit done. I’ve seen builds where they’re only able to put an inch or so of insulation in the walls,etc. yours is much thicker and should make a big difference in heating and cooling. I think you got a fantastic deal on the vehicle to and only 30 some thousand miles! It’s still a new truck! I’ll keep watching and take care!

Ty, i dont want to remove the inner fiberglass but just build in a few things we need such as water and 12 volt system. However there are sections of the outer panels which are loose from the frame. I was hiping you could tell me how they are connected to the frame. It might be necessary for me to take them loose and reattach.

Does anyone know if there is a benfit from foam board vs spary foam. Seems like spray would be much faster

My partner and I are going to buy our own shuttle bus most likely and build it out, we've been wondering about budget and seeing your bus Reno and the budge you had for it has been amazingly helpful for me to feel inspired and secure about this decision! I know both of our goals is to eventually have an expedition vehicle so this has been a lovely treat as well <3

We have been doing research on raising our roof on our ambulance that we just purchased. This is by far the easiest, cheapest, and quickest way to raise the roof! We are definitely going this route and are going to pretty much do exactly what you guys did!

This is so helpful! I’m deciding between a ford e450 or a micro bird for my rig and this helps a lot

How many miles to the gallon do you get?

This helped me as i start my bus build and get frustrated. It is sometimes hard to not compare your bus to the glamorous ones you see online. Your bus is awesome and i appreciate the vid! What are the panels you used for the ceiling finish?

In shuttle buses and school buses there is only one front seat. the right side is taken by the stairs. how are you dealing with this? is the second person just sitting behind somewhere? did you install a seat belt for that person? isn't it a bummer not to be able to see the view together, chat, etc' ?

can you pls explain what you did with the windows? you took them out, and then what? you said trace them and replace them? replace what, the windows? thanks.
