Bob Skeat as good as he is can't replicate Martin's playing or sound. The bass is just as much a signature sound of Wishbone Ash as the twin guitars.

Had the honour of chating to Mr Turner at the anvil Basingstoke genuine man had time for you. This band comes close to original Ash it's a shame Ted Turner and Mr Upton left. Rated Ted great performer.

Why no bass?

Have seen Martin's band 3 times now. Have to say that they are much more enjoyable than Errr Wishbone Ash!. (i 've seen Andy's Band as well).

Ich habe den Eindruck Martin ist besser mit seinem Geld umgegangen und spielt weil es ihm Spaß macht. Bei Andy habe ich den Eindruck es macht ihm zwar auch Spaß aber er möchte auch das Geld für das Spielen haben.
