First published by the CCG in 1993 when the UK catfish record was held by Steven Pointz's 49lb 14oz Homersfield fish , this film shows old skool catting using early catfish tackle (much of it home made!)
The film features CCG founder members Kevin Maddocks, Simon Clarke, Keith Lambert and Ron Griffiths - you'll notice how much more hair was around 20 odd years (and several stone!) ago.
The tackle used in this film was appropriate for the size of catfish that were being targetted in the early 90's, please don't take this as a recommendation for modern catfishing!
