Can you put acoustic hihat into the electric one? Im confused
So wait you have to basically drop crash 2 if you want a field ride? So I can’t buy 3 crashes and a ride from field and have all of them working on all zones?
That was strange indeed. With the Strike having the customary Ride 1 and 2 inputs for 3 zones with choke, one would think that would be it. They even say "traditional 2 jack setup" on their site, i.e. the Ride 1 and 2 is the "traditional" setup. So what's being done here? Ride 1 + Crash 2, with Ride 2 unused? If that's it, can we make use if the Ride 2 input for something else. It would seem like a waste to spend a 2 zone chokeable crash input just for a single edge piezo.
@@Trottelheimer right? I’ve even messaged customer support as I have a entire set of 2 crash, splash, ride and hi-hat in my cart and almost checked out. I am awaiting some kind of response from Field.
@@D-Squared OK! I'm also interested in these. Please let us know what the deal with the ride connection is when they get back to you.
I just got my ride today. I’m very disappointed. I need all my inputs! They should make it clear that you will loose one if you buy their ride. I’ll be following this comment section. I’ll reach out to Field too. I’ll post here if i figure something out
Also, if you want to adjust the volume of your ride while you’re playing, you have to remember to adjust the ride slider AND the crash slider, or your bell wont match up in volume. (or whatever input you choose to use - I took out my 4th tom)
Is it necessary to be a real cymbal or can it be any pad of any cymbal? I ask why I want to know if in addition to the 2 Crash and Ride that brings by default, I can add a China for example.
hello, I just bought a set of cymbals from you! I downloaded the Field presets! is it necessary despite this to tweak the settings as shown in the videos?
Could ypu help me i am new an dont think i hsve put cutch on propper. Im a begginer with no clue could u help me.
The offset isn’t high enough, that’s why it triggers the bow after a chick
Great Video! Thank u soo much! 😊
What does this video show? I don't understand it.
Man!! I'm glad I didn't buy these field overpriced edrums and cymbals, sound terrible!
You do know the sounds come the module right?
Great sharing🌺🙂🌺🙂🎻
pls send me a field ride!!!!! i will love u forever
can someone please a video on showing how to set up the triggers for a diy hi hat cymbal.
Why not connect to Ride Edge and Ride Bell respectively? Why Do I need to use an AUX input?
Because the bell is a piezo and is considered as another separate cymbal, this gives a better separation between the zones
Is the same for the TD-50? Cannot find a video for this particular module...
So question, I have seen the Ride setup like on this video and also by separating the bell and connecting it to an Aux input. I rather not use an Aux input for the bell. Can you tell me if that’s the case for the TD-50?
What kind of drum sticks are those? Are they low volume?
Its fields own rubber covered sticks
Why do you need rubber sticks for? Is it for the cymbals?? Pads??
@@khd17 For the mesh pads it doesnt do any difference really but for cymbals it makes a huge noise difference. Rubber hitting metal is alot quieter then wood hitting metal
@@khd17 Also, its not neccesary but if noise is a concern then theyre great
Are compatible whit DTX drums?
I am a robot
what up with that bell shape?
Not a single bit interested, just saw these on an offerup ad and was wondering
Are you triggering a module that has cymbal samples we are hearing, not the cymbal itself correct?
Very interesting :)
I see several new vids on those good looking cymbals but I only hear bad synth and sequencer sounds. I don’t mean to critize but if I’m spending $450 for a ride I want it to sound like a good one. I can buy a 10” Pintect for $20 and get those old disco sounds from the 80’s. If you don’t have one, borrow a TD30 and TD50 and run it through ezdrummer and Superior Drummer 3 and creat some authentic cymbals that a pro would want. You’re not going to sell anything with those dated awful sounds. You’re disrespecting those beautiful cymbals. You better get Luke Oswalt back in the picture. I’m sure his sounds sold a lot of Jobeky cymbals.
Probably a bad module... To get any kind of good sounds from edrums you'd need to run them through something like ezdrummer... Of course they could have done this, which would certainly help sell their maximum ability.
It,s not electronic hi hat 😏
Does these cymbals offer velocity sensivity?
Very expensive..... specially kids nowadays listen to crap music like trap and mumble crap.. Kids these days are no longer interested in learning instruments. very expensive instruments are not helping.
I don’t think high end electronics companies are marketing or relying on ‘kids’ for sales. Just because something is expensive for YOU doesn’t mean there aren’t people that can/will willingly pay for it. Ferraris are expensive too, and all these darn kids are into Honda Civics…etc etc…you’re talking apples and oranges here.
that intro graphic was so ps2
Does Roland Position sense work with these Ride Cymbals?
what kind of module do you use to trigger this cymbal?
what kind of module do you use here?
Do you ship to Australia?
Sweet!, price-point though is bitter ;)
Will the Field hi hat cymbal work with a 2box module using the Hihat controller magnet box?
Roland TD 30 supports 3way triggering. I have a cy 15 with Edge Bow and Belltrigger.
I have a question regarding the third zone or trigger with roland TD30, if roland TD30 only allows a dual zone for their cymbals, how does the TD30 could activate 3 different zone area??
Roland TD30 has a 3zone ride. What you say is valid for the crash cymbals
I would like to hear the actual noise. If they aren't too loud, it would be perfect, no one would recognize that it is an electronic drum kit, if done properly.
i was thinking the same thing. fancy seeing Vdrum tips here! :p
Can you add those cymbals to another e drum module? Let say 2box Thanks
excuseme how many input triggers does the hithat have?
Please post a video of what the cymbal sounds like with no sounds being triggered. I need to see if the stick noise is too loud. This is of major importance and cannot be overlooked.
Nice! works good on Roland Td-4? How much Cost? Ship to Brazil? Thanks!
That's obviously a REAL Hi hat.
I Just got some of the new redesigned FIELD cymbals, They are AWESOME!! super durable and play like a real cymbal. I had the first models they came out with and these new ones are totally different and way better.
Is the high hat n cymbals acoustic ones? And is the drums good which doesn't spoil easily?
You use what is the drum module?
And it would also be great if you made a video about the acoustic noise of this kit. like in this video : "BFD2, Alesis Trigger IO, RET E-Drums - VPT Walkthrough 2"
like in this video : "Setting up Hi Hat Controller with Electronic Drums 1: VFD"
could you tell me what does the hi-hat come with and what does it need do be ready to play?
its really fun to play elevator music
Do you detect the opening and closing it? HDI E-Pedal II STND? or Pintech HHC RYC VisuLite Controller (RHC-100)?
