My name is Uncle Thor. I am a clockmaker, and co-owner of Dutch Creek Clocks & Photography. I make, repair, sell, and collect clocks, and my wife, Aunt Desi, is an aspiring photographer. I also dabble in watchmaking and other repairs. My videos will document these repairs around the house, and for clients.

I’ve got a emperor just like this except it has more of a oak finish to it and it’s got a urgos triple chime movement instead of a Jauch movement like yours

I have the Jauch Emperor clock also, I got it at a second hand store and it sounds amazing. Like something out of a Harry Potter movie. Can you tell me what that that circular brass knob is for? Mine has the same knob but I'm afraid to mess with it as its working lol

Hello I am looking to buy the third wheel on the time side can you help me out if you have one for sale.
I'm afraid I cannot help with that. I do not sell or ship parts, at least not yet. What I can do is give you some advice on where to buy one. My go-to for clock parts is timesavers.com, but ebay might be better. You need to make sure the pinion, wheel diameter, and tooth count match.
Waterbury movements can be a pain in the***. You did good. I will be watching for your next video. Happy New Year
I went in thinking the same thing, but it was actually easier to assemble than some of the other clocks I've worked on. It was just the strike train being weird. Happy new years to you, too!
