    I get splitting to dry. But why not burn the whole log? My buddies do it and burn far less wood per season. Easier on them and it lasts longer. Just wanted to hear your reason why you split wood

    It's a whole lot easier to just buy a lottery ticket win a MILLION DOLLARS.... Buy a John Deere X9 1100 with a 50 foot header... To make it easier grab a cold beer out of it's fridge.... Or how do you sweat so much.... Keep yer seigh pointed at a gob of oats and you will sweat too...

    5:15 you should cut the plant right above the roots instead of pulling it out. leaving the roots in the ground will allow them to stop minerals from washing away, and slowly release nitrogen into the soil. it also feeds the soil as it decomposes. @howtocountry5591

    Here in the Philippines I grow many items STEALTHY. Crops like cassava, UBE, sweet potatoes are excellent and can stay in the ground until you are ready to harvest. MORINGA is another highly nutritious plant that has several uses, including being a LIVING fence.

    You Guys heard of the Jacob Mittleider Growing Method. Number of You Tube videos on You Tube. At least one video telling about his history. He was a 7th. Day Adventist Missionary. He saw how the people he ministered to struggled feeding themselves. He then developed the method.

    How do you know when the oats are ready to cut. I just planted some for the first time and don't have any experience .

  • @djmoulton1558
    @djmoulton1558 6 месяцев назад

    Sorry, that's incorrect. Rolled oats are cooked first with steam, them pressed/rolled. Steel-cut oats are not cooked. The "quicker" the oats the more times they have been steamed. Each cooking slightly reduces the nutritive value of the oats. That's why health nuts insist on using either oat groats or steel-cut oats.

    • @ocean0158
      @ocean0158 2 месяца назад

      But he didn’t say anything about it’s rolled and put into a package for selling. He said it looks close to the rolled oats we get at the store, which is true. It looks exactly like it. But I bet it would go through some kind of sterile process to keep it frm getting bacteria growth I guess. Like you mentioned they would steam it.

    • @djmoulton1558
      @djmoulton1558 2 месяца назад

      @@ocean0158 Umm... no. They can only flatten the groats out by softening them with cooking/steaming. That's what gives rolled oats their distinctive appearance.
